The Senate will use this as leverage. You want the iron dome then vote to pass a spending bill and/or fund the government.

I'm all for Israel being able to defend itself. But they need to start paying for it themselves. We can't even fix our own infrastructure and we're giving money to Israel? This is just fricked. Let them pay for it.

I'm very grateful to have Israel as an ally, and I think it is amazing to have a country in the middle east that isn't filled with backwards Muslims, but I don't think they still need our help maintaining the Iron Dome.
