As long as that information and it's source is properly vetted, which it wasn't.

No one has yet to answer, so I'll ask again. If FISA is so ripe for abuse, why did the GOP re-authorize it knowing all of the "issues" your'e mentioning?

Libs are still around this board with all the winning that’s gone on the last several months?

Because people in the GOP like John McCain wanted to oust Trump by any means necessary. I've already explained that to you once.

You are saying that the dossier was right about Carter Page.

Why isn't he in jail?

Now we know why this IG report is delayed from a May or June release that Barr said orginally. Barr is going to have to do another spin job to make this IG report look good for Trump.

How the hell is a guy who publicly admitted he hated Donald Trump, wanted Hillary to win, and leaked parts of the Dossier to the media (Yahoo-Isikoff) while under federal subpoena for the purpose of helping create a circular source (used himself to help corroborate himself), and then lied to the FBI that he didn’t leak and wasn’t the source (before admitting later he was), possibly “credible”???

You know how we know the Politico hack who wrote this is full of shite? Yeah.

At some point, a GOP President is going to use FISA like the Obama administration did. And you will be screaming of overreach and unAmerican activities and shouting “unprecedented!”

And it will all be precedented.

I'm saying that what's alleged in the dossier about Carter Page isn't necessarily illegal. Even if it were, the standard for it's use is nowhere near reasonable doubt, or even probable cause. The FISA bar is really quite low.

It's actually not if the proper protocol is followed. As we know, it wasn't.

Surely you know that this term is reserved, strictly, for the crazy-soft, radical left wing, LGBTQRSTUV, race-baiting, sky-screaming cowards that you affiliate with.

With this logic, how is a President who has lied thousands of times, credible about anything?

Do you think FISA laws should be reformed to require a higher standard?

I don’t like the idea of a secret court granting wide ranging surveillance ops against people who might be harmless.

Yes, we agree and this is what democrats asked for but the republican congress wouldn't allow for changes:

quote:

Jan. 11, 2018

WASHINGTON — The House of Representatives voted on Thursday to extend the National Security Agency’s warrantless surveillance program for six years with minimal changes, rejecting a push by a bipartisan group of lawmakers to impose significant privacy limits when it sweeps up Americans’ emails and other personal communications.

Trump should start investigating all D candidates now.

It would be the swiftest way to end the abuse.

Do you have any shame in real life?

You have zero here after buying and then selling the Russian asset lie for 3 years.

Is this a personality flaw you are aware of and just don't give a shite?

So why use the dossier to get that warrant at all? If the information on Page was "largely verified" as you put it, then it stands to reason that there was something other than fricking sjw wet dreams to justify this warrant. I mean, they had been spying on him for years prior to this and such an incredibly "low bar".

Oh wait, i know why. McCabe said there could be no warrant without the dossier. Too bad his own boss thought it was "salacious and unverified". Hard to argue that it was actionable intelligence when your own boss swears under oath that it wasnt.
