Actually, with her flip flopping, Kamala is indicating she's more like Clinton than a true leftist believer. She was anti crime as a prosecutor, but as Senator she went left. Now, she's flopping back to the center. That indicates her positions will be whatever helps her win, which would be much more centrist in national elections.
Clinton did whatever he had to do to remain President, which was compromise with Republicans. Harris showing she may be of the same cloth.
Walz is a true progressive believer who'd plow forward with his idiotic policies no matter what.
Maybe he's more likeable, but he's also far more scary to me.

I think he was nervous. He's never been on a stage that big in that situation and he knew he was going up against a ninja with JD. All things considered, being objective, Walz handled the situation about as well as he possibly could have. I thought he was going to be a complete bumbling disaster and he really wasn't, give or take a gaff or two. He was far more competent than Kamala and came off as likeable as far as his demeanor and tone.

I think the unsettling thing for me is how interchangeable politicians seem to be.
Yes, I understand that JD is being rather diplomatic, and Tim is somewhat of a waffler.
We are at the partisan politics stage of the timeline, wherein, parties can change policy on a dime it seems.

I’ll admit that he’s more likeable than Kamala.
He’s also more liberal in some ways. He is classic bleeding heart liberal whereas Kamala is a cold hearted ambitious politician
