I don't spend a lot of time thinking about other dude's dicks.

But happy 4th of July to you good sir since it seems you do.

There is nothing intrinsically wrong with being gay.

It would be like seeking treatment bc your second toe is longer than your first toe.

Only busy bodies who are interested in the genitals of others have a problem.

You must not know any actual gay people. They suffer immensely, especially in youth to deal with their feelings and societies perception of those feelings. In almost every case they hide it, deny it, pretend to be straight for many years. My aunt was married for decades and raised three children before getting divorced and coming out. She has told me more than once that if she could have changed the way she was feeling, she would have.

That said, I agree with your main point. Idgaf what people do in their bedrooms. However, ignoring scientific research on the matter is shortsighted.

It's not about "the dicks", it's about the mental illness of the "transgendered".

With you seeing only the "dick" part, it seems you are thinking about dicks.

The gay people I know who suffered did so bc the family and community around them thought being gay was wrong.

I also have an uncle who was gay and raised in the 50s and his parents in the deep south and his parents never acted as though it were negative and he never suffered. They had the means though and essentially funded the local church and the pastor knew good and well not to cross that line.

So suffering isn't genetic.

Why would anyone care if being gay is genetic or not?

Should i care who other people like to frick?

Because once it's deemed genetic, there's no element of choice, and then it becomes a protected class.

You're going to see untold amounts of money dedicated to this social cause over the next decade, and they're going to try to call it science.

There have been many. I suspect, without pursuing it, some isolated twin reports are included in this fellow's own survey of existing studies

I hope there are many more, because even the author admits he has severe sample selection issues on a severely limited sample.

Did that stand up to any kind of peer review?

Wtf are you even arguing here? This is so off point, I'm not sure how to respond.

"Southern Christian bigots! Rabble, rabble"

What does this have to do with research that could help us understand why humans behave a certain way? Idgaf that uncle lou gets shite hammered every night, but I'm not suggesting we stop researching alcoholism. Many gays would seek treatment. I know thats hard to hear, but I personally have four friends who have sought counseling and even religious intervention to fight their feelings. That doesn't include my aunt.

Besides, The lion's share of the scientific research for genetic homosexuality if being driven by the left. You know that, right?

Ok. Alcoholism can kill you.

Being gay can't.

Here's a suggestion...

If a scientific article refuses to link back to the research used to come to the conclusion, question it. Don't immediately assume it is accurate because it fits into your already held biases.

And when you do find the 'researcher's' website, and it's just a portal to sell his anti-gay book (4th edition, original was in 2000!)....

...maybe you're an idiot if you believe him.
