Does Hollywood exist to make money or to make artistic creations celebrated by their own due to diversity quotas while nobody watches? Because it sounds like they should start getting comfortable with the latter.

But weirdos believe people here give one shite about your woke arse opinion.

I was curios so I searched previous winners - the last winner I saw was Slumdog Millionaire(2009)

Minari and Sound of Metal were both damn good movies, Minari especially. They would’ve been in contention in normal, pre-woke years. Trial of the Chicago Seven was very mediocre.

But as an African American actor who has long struggled to stay upbeat while going on countless auditions, and often feeling like the deck was stacked against me, I think that this Oscars will be forever remembered as the one where changes in the voting body made six years ago in the wake of #OscarsSoWhite has delivered an a promise by the Academy to reform itself.

Christ almighty. As if white actors don’t have this exact struggle.

If no one watches it, who will be able to remember it?

If a tree falls in an empty forest, who remembers the noise it made?

I don’t think it’s profit driven anymore.

It’s about programming the public.

Yep. Heretofore, if the State has your back, the money don't matter. Watch and see Tiger Stadium full to the brim as before, only difference being it will be with Government-subsidized tickets. Only fair.

Top to bottom.

* On a side note; Trump will be on Hannity tonight. Always interesting.

I can't watch because of the corona virus.

My TV is too close to my couch.
