Why don’t you, for once, actually state the support for your belief that these [Star Fort] structures are not military installations.
Fair question. Not a problem. Will be forthcoming later on.
IN BRIEF: The explanation (and purpose) for the different geometric shapes of Star Forts requires related esoteric explanations, theories, and different "history" that must necessarily challenge the usual much simpler, kinder Wikipedia / Smithsonian / Royal Society / Controllers "History"-Industrial Complex. (Of course that means, THINKING OUTSIDE THE MAINSTREAM BOX.)
Business before pleasure. Later.

I’m no rocket surgeon, but it looks like a very logical spot for a fort. The end of the shallow water.
Very difficult location, but pretty ideal from what I understand of that time period.

If you wanna know what a star fort actually looks like, there is one on the previous page.
Might help you when you decide to make your argument.

Nope. The designs were made for interlocking fields of fire where the assaulting forces would be exposed from multiple angles. There are multiple lines separated with wide moats or ditches to expose the assaulting forces.
The detached bastions are made in a way that even when they fall to the enemy, the gun emplacements are useless to the attacking forces while also not being connected to the next line means they have to assault another line of defenses all over again.

There are other aspects to star forts being connected underground or some such. I was never terribly concerned with the star forts, but there was something else super coincidental about them that I have forgotten.
That is if you are interested in such things and think is worth looking into. If not no worries, I'm not really interested in them either at the moment.

Same here. It was something to do with our "Subverted history". but I have forgotten what it was. Might have been in the Asha Logos series. Maybe when the Liberator gets back?
Like Napolean said,
History is a bunch of lies; agreed upon.

It's humorous that you think none of us have been to Fort Jefferson and played in the mud.

It was a bottom brick...the keystone if you will.
It will fall any day now.

The donkey told the tiger:
''The grass is blue".
The tiger replied:
''No, the grass is green".
The discussion became heated up, and the two decided to submit the issue to arbitration, and to do so they approached the lion, King of the Jungle.
Before reaching the clearing in the forest where the lion was sitting on his throne, the donkey started screaming:
''Your Highness, is it true that grass is blue?".
The lion replied:
"True, the grass is blue".
The donkey rushed forward and continued:
''The tiger disagrees with me and contradicts me and annoys me please punish him".
The king then declared:
''The tiger will be punished with 5 years of silence".
The donkey jumped for joy and went on his way, content and repeating:
''The grass is blue"...
The tiger accepted his punishment, but he asked the lion:
''Your Majesty, why have you punished me, after all, the grass is green?"
The lion replied:
''In fact, the grass is green".
The tiger asked:
''So why do you punish me?"
The lion replied:
''That has nothing to do with the question of whether the grass is blue or green. The punishment is because it is not possible for a brave, intelligent creature like you to waste time arguing with a donkey, and on top of that to come and bother me with that question".
The worst waste of time is arguing with the fool and fanatic who doesn't care about truth or reality, but only the victory of their beliefs and illusions. Never waste time on discussions that make no sense...

That is a cool and very witty story but, what IF the Star forts question is moot but the history, we think we know is suspect? Such as;
And that, comes from this guy.
Poggio Bracciolini, Italian humanist and medieval version of Lara Croft.
Would anyone here be curious and risk ridicule here?

Let’s start with an interesting fact. If you try and trace the physical origins of any historical document discussing ancient Rome, you can never get further back than around the 10th century AD. Virtually everything we know about the Roman Empire comes from manuscripts of medieval origin.

That story applies to both you and I.
Why are you wasting your time arguing with someone over something you believe is the truth?

Well we both know who has the better football team and it's easily proven.
Eta: Unless the games you watches in your lifetime were also a lie. Lol

Yep. He still has it somewhere. We took a seaplane out there. I was 18 or so so my memory of it is off a bit, but the brick count is definitely off by one.
Following in my dad’s footsteps, I have a not insubstantial piece of Pompeii on my bookcase.
We don’t do well at historic sites . . .

I'm planning on sailing out there and staying a while. But they make that difficult with their regs. Pretty sure that's alien interference.
