The radio commercial for the new Ted Kennedy “I tried to save her life movie” mentions this movie might not be agreeable for children to watch because of “smoking”. Not drugs but cigarettes!

Seriously, we have to warn people that cigarettes might be part of a movie now.

Look man. either it's okay to outlaw smoking a plant or it isn't.

Choose a side.

The Attorney General of the United States disagrees.

Ishmael: You really should try to quit, Mr. Munson. They say it's bad for your heart, your lungs. It quickens the aging process.

Roy: Is that right. Who's done more research on the subject than the good people at the American Tobacco Industry? They say it's harmless. Why would they lie? If you're dead, you can't smoke.

Well. They do kill exponentially more people than firearms do.

They're about to put a cancer warning on coffee.

Idiots do not realize that warnings on everything make all warnings meaningless

Okay so I guess we'll just drop warning labels off of things where it's important because you want it to feel more impactful each time. Dumbass.

Do you need them to tell you to not use your blender in the bathtub?

He was talking about coffee having warning labels for potential cancer. Considering all the propaganda I've read about coffee helping protect against cancer that's a pretty serious finding. Warning labels help people even if whatever it is, is super obvious

Damn dude, I've seen other post of yours concerning smoking, I don't know if you are just a moron that doesn't understand evolution and why humans smoke, are if you're just a useless piece of shite that needs others to be "bad" so you can "think" you're good.

Holler wolf long enough and see what happens.

Putting that into practical experience we now temper weather concerns with various degrees of hazard, instead of going in with an all of nothing approach.

Good catch. I did a mental double-take when I heard this.

Smoking is bad for you, I'm not 'for' it, etc., etc., but holy peace pipe, Batman.

What's next, a warning about portrayals of historical white priviledge?

Our culture is becoming overrun by a bunch of girly ninnies ...

Caution: Sleeping pills may make you drowsy. Don't drive or operate heavy machinery.

Caution: Hot coffee may be hot.

Allergy Warning: This bag of peanuts may contain peanuts.

Caution: Do not iron while wearing shirt.

It may help individuals, but it doesn't help society. We need to let the idiots die off instead of coddling them.

This should be the only warning label used:

It's an addictive, mind altering substance. Sounds like a drug to me.

I imagine this board has the highest number of smokers than any other on TD; not surprised at the downvotes.
