Well I mean, are you arguing that Carlson being paid millions to be a cable talk show host wouldn't influence the views he expresses on the show?
It wouldn't affect mine. My first million, and I have "F-U" money. My balls will be hanging out after that.
*Sigh, that's not true though. Inevitably I'd have had to sign some contract putting my manhood up as a hostage.
Or if I went "Rogue," I'd wind up committing suicide by shooting myself in the back of the head twice, or hanging myself with a scarf (that I never owned) from a doorknob.
So it's just a fantasy I guess.

I don't understand how you believe that taxation is the acceptable alternative to philanthropy/charity. Or are you stating differently?

You seem to be having trouble. First of all “I” don’t possess anything. I don’t deny that the liberal media so to speak exists nor do I argue that it’s a good thing or, as the poster I quoted said “necessary” for balance. The media pushes establishment corporate democrats, whom I don’t often support.
The “well they do to it so it’s okay” mentality is a big problem in politics today and in this situation gives the impression that an honest media isn’t what many who post here actually desire.
Nope, no trouble. It's pretty obvious which political camp you ar spinning for. That's why I used the quote marks around 'you.'
Impression in this case is meaningless. Your opinion is not going to be swayed. So whether the impression is good or bad in your yes, doesn't really matter.
As for the rest of what you wrote, I gather things like the John Oliver/Colbert/(Rest of the hack talk show hosts) bloc, and the patently ridiculous bias of the media should be ignored?
Because otherwise we are giving a bad 'impression?' Please.

Did I say that?

Tucker got owned and the guy wouldn't let him pivot like a lot of hosts do when they can't push the narrative they want. When someone is well versed on a subject and has a solid point most hosts aren't prepared paste their 3 bullet points.

All I said was Russ is a beta and is Ciaras bitche. Only a beta would not agree with that
Posted on 2/21/19 at 11:52 am to SDVTiger
As opposed to being the NFL’s bitch and letting them decide his life for him
Posted on 2/21/19 at 11:55 am to Draconian Sanctions
Why do you keep bringing up the NFL
What does that have to do with Russ being a beta bitche to his wife
She made him wait till marriage

Tucker is going to have an aneurysm. that facial expression is probably how he walks around IRL.

I was going to start this thread. This guy finally did it.
He cucked the Tuck.

Because that’s the actual issue, not the details of RW’s marriage which I could not possible give less of a frick about.

Nah that’s what I’m stating. Philanthropy is a nice and noble cause but to pretend it’s a viable base structure for a functioning society is naive and the participants at Davos talk about philanthropy so they don’t have to address the real issue of adequate taxation. Don’t get me wrong I’m 100% for cutting all manner of government spending, every facet of it. Too damned big. But taxation is a necessary evil.
