Nah, Kelly's got thicker skin than that, unless uber liberal Ivanka is whispering in Daddy's ear.

How is this whole thing still the major headline story? It’s so insane what the media focuses on vs what they completely ignore

Good for Trump: totally ignore it or if you do mention it try and find a way to spin it negatively

Bad for Trump: oh my god this is the biggest story in the history of this country that’s literally all we can talk about

This is such a worn out tactic:

Use nebulous sources to create the impression that what the media wants to happen is actually happening to try and make it happen.

Played as shite.

White House is denying the ABC News story but another story is reporting that the President is "increasingly venting" about Kelly, upset with his handling of the Porter situation.

quote:

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump, frustrated by his staff's handling of the abuse allegations against Rob Porter, is increasingly venting about Chief of Staff John Kelly and speculating about potential replacements, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter.

One senior administration official and three other people briefed on those conversations told NBC News Trump is angry at Kelly's initial statement of effusive support about Porter's character — and then the quick walk back the next day.

I don't think Trump will get rid of Kelly.

He likes the military stature Kelly possesses and Kelly's willingness to make statements to back Trump up when he gets himself into a pinch.

Everything about liberal world view is a throwback to stupider times, and yet they don't seem to realize it. It's like they never got over the hippie movement.
Sad.

the fact that he concealed for apparently a long time that his protégé could not get a security clearance for being a wife beater, allow a non-secure employ handle all of the classified documents going to the president, and generally manipulated the intent of security clearances because he liked his protégé, and only when Ivanka walked in with a black eye photo and show Pop Porter's work did Kelly get cornered and against his will allow him to resign. I would say that if the same issue happened in Obama's White House that 90 % of you on this board would ask for his removal and arrest. Kelly should man up and resign which would be bad for Trump in the short term, but good for him in the long run. Otherwise, harboring wife beaters in the Oval Office will haunt Trump and the Republicans in November. Women are on the war path over this, boys.

He's a general. If the CIC asks him to, he will.

That's the way it works.

The way some of you overestimate the electorate is hilarious. The average person can barely name who the Vice President is let alone link Porter to Kelly to Trump.
