So you're one of those MMT people who don't believe government debt really matters and should not be a consideration in policy or spending decisions. Money is essentially as real as fairy dust
Nah. Im just one of “those people” who recognizes that unless we have a party opposing this schitt - and we don’t- then it will continue until the crash.
This is grounds for a legal suit, and a vote to remove from office. The removal won’t happen in Cali, but the suit can, and should, but never does, because the R Party is OK as long as they get their grift.

That's when some politician's brother-in-law picks it up for pennies on the dollar, slaps a coat of paint on, and flips it for millions.

Retnuh-Nedib Construction, LLC, the proud builder I suppose. I could see building places to house the street people if the bureaucracy exhibited just a modicum of common sense and respect for the money required to do so. Most of the homeless street people have serious mental illness so how the hell does a high rise condo help. I guess this shows how much ‘we’ care and fulfills the Equity part of the DEI narrative. I cannot imagine what this Nation looks like 5 years from now.

Talk about inflating prices. And to think they collect off your taxes for this.
