Only 51% of Americans live with in their means.

61% couldn't afford a 1,000$ emergancy.

I taught my kids to live on 50% of what they make.

Hasn’t everyone said Tariffs would have to be refunded if ruled unconstitutional?

Even if the money isn’t refunded, it should be used to pay the deficit which if I remember correctly was the reason for the tariffs anyway, right?

Would Congress have to pass a bill to pay a stimulus? Will people be responsible for paying this back if ruled unconstitutional as well?

What an over promise/under deliver moment!

If I somehow end up poor enough to ever qualify for any of this I’ll come join you.

Which is why this is an economic stimulus attempt IMO

I've finally reached the income level where I'm at 60% savings rate on take home pay after maxing my retirement

I wasn't always as responsible and had to cut back some frivolous spending to get there

To be fair, I wasn't even considering the commercial market, so egg on my face for that.
Easy to do. You know what you know.

As a business owner, I can clearly see the depreciation value in that case, but we are also talking about two different types of depreciation.
Absolutely. And installation scale, BOS cost, etc. is completely different too.

Populist will kick the can down the road. This is just another illustration.

The admin doesnt want to "fix" the economy, they want to make it look better via illusion.

Big difference between "wants" and "needs".

I grew up poor, without a mom and dad.

Learned the hard way.

I used to blow a lot of money at the bar and dining out. Now I never go to the bar and dine out maybe once a week.

To be fair, there isn't a single administration that will ever run on what needs to be done, much less do it.

We need a housing reset, but instead, we will dole out 50-year mortgages. Just utter bullshite.

On the bright side, values of my rental units and flips will skyrocket again due to more people being able to afford monthly notes. Yay for me!

There should be not be a "tariff dividend" period. To anyone.

Why? Do you think the money is better used in the hands of government?

This is why progressivism always fails. Its a "fix it at all cost" ideology
