In his case they declared executive privilege and later the courts ruled that it was not covered by executive privilege.
He didn't violate the law.

This is the only reason they are holding Barr in contempt. Democrats just want to play the payback game. It's also the reason they want to impeach TRUMP in the first place, still looking for payback for Clinton's impeachment.
