It's artificial super intelligence (ASI).
The artificial is to designate that it's man made and not naturally occurring.
Have we even reached AGI? I know we keep hearing it's coming this year. But I sometimes wonder if it's a bit of this:

Its an Alien Intelligence and his statement ""Whoever wins Super Intelligence, wins." shows he has no understanding whatsoever of what he is dealing with or the potential consequences. And what is this non sense he sis saying that the same group of people sounding the alarm on AI are the ones responsible for RUSSIA, RUSSIA ,RUSSIA. Yea the media is covering it but its folks in the industry that are sounding the alarm.

These are generally considered 3 of the top leaders (among a few others ) in US AI development. Which one of these is part of the same group responsible for the RUSSIA, RUSSIA , RUSSIA hoax or the climate change hoax....as Trump says? They are all talking out of both sides of their mouths of course as none are slowing down or looking to stop their IPO's and are just looking for liability coverage if or when something goes wrong. Then they can say see...we were begging for legislative guard rails all along....And Trump ....he is just spouting incoherent non sense.

I quoted you three leaders in the field...none who have anything to do with the Russia hoax, that have great concerns about AI and have for years. They are freely discussing these issues with the press. The press is doing what it does and sensationalizing it to a point....it doesnt mean the risk is not there or that its hoax. If there wasnt a risk...then why must we 'win at all cost" ? What does winning mean?

He loves branding. I think others in the thread are right. He's going understated here and might actually want to take this beyond "super" to something like "Super-Maxx Kick-arse intelligence" and fire a machine gun whenever you say it.

I'm not the one that brought it up, man. Panican is not really a term you'll see me use much. FLTech wore it smooth the frick out.
