If this is how it works then Trump should pardon himself on day one of any crimes he may have committed in his entire life or may commit in the future.

The one apparent restriction to the pardon power is that a president can't pardon himself.

What if they ignore the pardons and arrest anyway?
If there are repercussions, Trump can just issue a blanket pardon for those he ordered to do it. Seems to be the way this works.

Great idea. The American People will get a full view of the whole list of every US Govt and media figure who abused power and broke the law. Biden will OUT all of them with the Pardons.

They’re trying to get us to react. Get to office first. Get everyone confirmed. Then go fricking scorched earth.
You say you "could give to shits" (?) about these pardons, yet follow that up by saying Trump should go "scorched earth" on those that were pardoned.
Can you explain how to go scorched earth on someone that has been pardoned?

Trump should revoke every last one of their citizenship if this happens.
How stupid are you people? US citizens born in the USA cannot be stripped of their citizenship. Naturalized citizens can only be stripped of their citizenship if it was wrongfully obtained.

Gerald Ford pardoned Richard Nixon before any criminal charges were ever brought or impeachment proceedings were ever started.
It can be done.
It can be done.

Trump really should pardon every single J6er, then launch an investigation into Ashley Babbitt’s murder.
Like the Democrats really give a frick about this.
Bro. A woman died. Killed by a cop that lied.
frick the Dims. We care about this.

Yes, he is going to pardon all of them. Trump did the same before he left office. Monkey see monkey do. The federal government is run by organized crime. It doesn't matter who wins. They still get to go home to their mansions in their gated communities, regardless.

Under what grounds? I’m assuming it doesn’t matter if it’s legal or constitutional. They do whatever the frick they want anyway. It’s (D)ifferent.
Go to part 9 of the syllabus
quote:
The [pardon] power … extends to every offense known to the law, and may be exercised at any time after its commission, either before legal proceedings are taken, or during their pendency, or after conviction and judgment.

“Political targeting”
That’s fricking rich.
From the day Trump was elected in 2016 he has been a political target for every weapon imaginable from FISA warrants, wiretaps and impeachments, to a whole host of bogus lawsuits and criminal charges/trials to literal guns.
F these people.
