He had already said weeks ago the family tried to convince Herschel not to run.
What should be most disturbing is Trump thought such an individual would be a good candidate. Time and time again Trump has proven he is a very poor judge of people and a very poor manager of a political organization. Who of any political savvy is going to run his campaign now?
