This was no poor kid from the wrong side of the tracks. The kid grew up in affluence.

On a COMPLETELY unrelated topic, his lawyer is now saying the kid heard voices.

demon voices told him how to pull off school shooting

Same here. The kid had been planning this fro some time. He seems rational AF to me.

Spent a few years in Parkland. Nothing but rich kids with no guidance. Most corrupt place I’ve ever been (and that includes New Orleans).

I don't doubt it. Evil in the world has an open invitation into weak and morally depraved minds. That is why we are where we are in our nations history. We took morality and made it a thing to be chastised over. I have no doubt the kid was influenced by demons.

I don’t know how insanity is a defense. Those guys need killing first.

What does his nice house have to do with mental illness? I honestly have no fricking clue what point you are trying to make about the social class of a mentally insane person with homicidal ideologies. The two things have really nothing to do with each other.

Hey, that's a mud hut compared to the house the Manendez brothers grew up in. And they killed their parents. And the women in the jury voted 'not guilty' because 'the poor boys are orphans.'

I'm not so sure. I think there is something going on here much more sinister than it is supernatural. I think the government is targeting troubled individuals and making them hear voices somehow to convince them to do these things. All of the recent high-profile mass shooters reported hearing voices. All of them had been in therapy. All of them had been taking similar medications. All of them had been reported to the FBI before.

We know the FBI has a history of supplying instructions to troubled individuals and spurring them to commit acts of terror only for the FBI to sabotage their attempts in order to catch them in the act.

We know the CIA has experimented with using psychotropic drugs and hypnosis on innocent people in pursuance of mind control operations (MK Ultra).

Why would it be inconsistent for those same people to be involved in cultivating these mass shooters via the same techniques in order to push an agenda?

I mean, Cruz was a student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. The school was named after an environmentalist famous for her efforts opposing the draining of the swamps of the Florida Everglades. That doesn't seem just a little bit suspicious? Is that not a strange coincidence?

That’s a bigger house and bigger piece of property than I ever lived in growing up.

I guess I missed my chance to be furious at society about it.

Talk about profiting from your own misconduct.

That's akin to murdering one's husband and then asking for sympathy for being a single mother.

Nothing.

Settle down, Beavis.

I'm not making a point. I'm reporting a couple of developments in what we know about the kid.

1. He grew up in affluence.

2., It looks like his attorney is going for an insanity defense.

You really need to lighten up.

Well, Joy Behar says that Jesus talking to VP Pence is a mental disorder. Let’s see how demons speaking to Cruz plays out with gun control talk on the line as a talking point.

Why is this relevant at all? The kid was probably schizophrenic. The size of his house means frick all.

You better pour a stiff drink and get ready. It’s coming. That’s why the “hears voices” defense is already out

There were a few threads earlier in the week connecting this kind of violence with lower socioeconomic conditions. Certainly not the case with this kid. That's it. No point beyond that.

I fail to see how his house has anything to do with his mental stability.
