The Irony is that the U.S. is energy independent. Trump was in Lake Charles yesterday at a Natural Gas Facility celebrating its out put....... We give the Iran more sanctions,,,, We pull out and watch that shite hole collapse. I hope Saudi Arabia goes down with them too!

I hope they blow each other the hell up and Europe takes in no refugees. Islam is not a religion of peace!!!!!

I believe that we are the largest energy exporter in the world now. We sit on the most valuable real estate in the world for natural resources.

I think this scenario was pretty much described to a "T" in the Book of Revelation. The End of Days may be upon us.

How long do you reckon the middle east has been at war for? Spoiler: A long time

What about this is any different than the last 3,000 years?

Amazing how a real President can change things so quickly. From boats tied up in Port Fourchon to Energy independence! Any questions kids! The grown ups are back in control!

We are the largest producer but not the largest exporter.

Only a very small amount of what we produce is exported.

Some, not all, areas of that region are shite holes and can rot in hell and get wiped off of the face of the earth. Good riddance and the world will be a better place for it.

Stability in the ME (Oil) used to be critical...no more so, as other and more stable and accessible energy sources are on the market. The ME - given Islamism - has now become an expendable entity. More of a liability that an asset irl.

I think everybody knows where the 'Islam' card goes.

I am all in on leaving the ME to its own devices, however, to imagine that oil/energy prices wouldn't sky-rocket if the region became embroiled in war and the free flow of oil was choked off, is off base. Without ME oil I could see $200/bbl+...not sure how nat gas would be affected...probably still low domestic prices but very high lng prices (?).

The push by Trump for energy independence by the USA is having global impacts, to be sure.

Islam is not a religion at all. It is a political movement dressed as a religion nothing more.

A hundred years after WW1, we're still bailing out the French and the British, for fricking up the Middle East.

Just someone that won't sell his own people out for a dollar...that's all it took.

The USA is a beast inherently.

This scenario is probably is the only thing that could ever get the La. economy back in the top 10 again. We're #50 now.
