You do understand that Trump endorsed DeSantis during the primary, right? DeSantis wasn't "coming from behind" against Gillum. If anything, Trump's endorsement generated artificial opposition to DeSantis.

And I'm sure his family moved down there due more to upcoming political persecution and not because of the covid restrictions differences.
