The pilot held the rank of Captain and had accumulated about 450 total hours of
flight experience, of which about 326 hours were in the accident helicopter make and model.
Though to note 300 hours at an army range is nothing like flying DC at night with ADS-B turned off.

I don't know about elite pilots.
Most must have been elite, maybe a few lucky.

I still think in the final report we will hear about mismatched altimeters or incorrect altimeter setting.
Was there an altimeter setting transmission from ATC to the helicopter during their transition thru the airspace?

As usual her female mentality was telling her "I know better".

Yes there was the altimeter retrieved from the pilot position I think was 28.87 iirc

... question :
Did the commercial airliner change the landing runway shortly before the final approach to the arrival runway?
Posted on 4/27/25 at 9:56 pm to bayou2
I don't recall a runway change but it could have happened.

I’m not sure how “shortly” it was. But there was a runway change.

... I seem to remember there was a change, along with the tower itself being short-staffed

Yeah I will go back and look at the NTSB stuff.
It seems there was a runway change.
Wonder what the ATIS data was.

Went back the through the NTSB report linked above. The runway change was at 8:43:06 to runway 33.
Impact was at approximately 8:47:59.

Didn't the Blackhawk check-in the with ATC prior to the runway change?

I wonder what her pre-sanitized social media accounts looked like. I find it very suspicious that her identity was withheld until that was done.

Yeah I don't know what ATIS was or check in altimeter quoted.

... the third passenger on board the Blackhawk was a mechanic from Lilburn, GA.
... same vicinity as Stop Cop City ...
Posted on 4/27/25 at 10:35 pm to bayou2
Not really the same vicinity. 25 or so miles away. Not sure where you were going with that.

... and not to leave out another point
It was either the pilot or co-pilot on the commercial airliner. being from Savanah GA
not too far away from where Gov. Kemp's daughter's boyfriend had that terrible auto accident on I-16
