That’s infuriating! What would happen if everyone stopped paying?

So are they going to vote to repeal again, like they did when POS McCain blocked them? Seems like they just kinda forgot about the issue. I guess the lobbyists and bag men have done their jobs.

Self Employed and pay around 2400 monthly for my family of 5.

We have the highest paid doctors and nurses. Would they be willing to take a pay cut if we went to universal healthcare?
If you make a mistake at your job, what happens? If a doctor or nurse does, it’s a lot worse than when you forget to put the fries in the bag or make a typo on the TPS report. When a mistake could cost you your professional license or result in jail time, report back.

That's cheap for my insurance. It's sick. Obama told me that......

Americans are getting crushed by health insurance with monthly payments of $1500, $1700, and over $2000 per month.
I was cleaning out my file cabinets a couple of weeks ago and I found my 2005 health insurance. It was $50 a month and had a yearly deductible of $500. It was listed as a “High Deductible” plan.
I just looked and a marketplace plan is ~$400/mo with. A $9000 deductible.

“Nurses are overpaid”.
Then why is there a Nursing shortage over the entire U.S.?
From what I read Louisiana is short about 6,000 nurses.Sounds low to me,
Central Louisiana alone is short 550.
It’s really difficult to get nurses to do direct pt.care(bedside nursing) esp. now that there are so many obese pts.Factor in 12 hour shifts, having to work night shifts, typically every other weekend and lots of holidays.
I did it 35 years, retired at 60.My last 3-4 years were tough. On my feet majority of the shift, maybe get a lunch break 1 day out of 5,lunch often would be a Granola bar and a cup of coffee while I was trying to catch up on my chart.
I slept in lounge chair my last 2 years and for a year after I retired because my shoulders were wrecked from pulling and turning 300-400 lb.pts,
I can’t say I recommend it.

But the healthcare system is so expensive because of your salary. At least you got to retire to your yacht and summer homes.

It was an enlightening day when we realized that paying a concierge doctor is cheaper for us than going to a GP.

Yeah, health insurance is out of control
Has anyone ever thought Health care is out of control? Have any of them looked at Doctor bills, what the hospitals charge?
