The glock switch is real and they advertise them on sights like Etsy and wish. I’m sure if you ordered one however, the ATF would be there as soon as your package delivered.

Glock that can fire up to 1100 rounds a minute? Pretty fricking impressive considering the most one mag can hold is about 40 rounds.

Rate of fire and capacity are not related.

and it would take a lot more internal modifications other than something you just plug into the back to make it effective.

Negative. I saw one work. Took all of 5 minutes to change out the backplate.

But any sustained fire of a Glock as suggested would melt the barrel.

So, there's all that.

Had a buddy that did contract security work in Iraq bring several back. Cool, but absolutely useless and would prevent a lot of deaths. Impossible to control.

Rate of fire is very showy for the purposes of the news but has NO relationship to what a gun can shoot in reality unless it is belt-fed or a Chicago typewriter with the 50-shot drum.

The entire point of saying this is to scare people into wanting to ban Glocks because of big scary numbers.

Average person has no fricking idea how many shots are in a typical semi-auto pistol so this info is used to make them think the clips hold hundreds of bullets instead of 35 max and more realistically 15 in most states, or 6 to 10 in ultra-retarded states like NJ and Delaware.

I'd love to see a handgun that can crack off 18 rounds per second!

Someone does not know the definition of a machine gun. Why am I not surprised?

OMG I could shoot $200 of 10mm in my Glock 20 in like 5 seconds. I wouldn’t hit anything and the barrel might melt but hopefully somebody bans Glocks so I won’t do this

But wait, it’s illegal to own an automatic weapon without the proper permits. . I’ve been told that if we ban weapons they’ll disappear and we can all live in peace.

I always had to have my stuff searched and a manifest made. It to the point I would go with a carryon and just use my clothing allotment in country to avoid carrying clothes back and forth. I even tried to get souvenir through once and couldn’t.

Who in the hell would want to concert a Glock into a machine gun?

I mean, if people want to do it they should be able to, but personally I think it's fricking stupid.

That’s crazy . What’s crazier is the ATF talking about it . These things just became a lot more popular .

Mathematically they may not be related, but in the physical world they are. If they said it could fire 40 rounds in 2 seconds it would be a precise and accurate measure of reality as opposed to an irrelevant number like 1100 rounds per minute or 66000 rounds per hour.

Of course this is true but the point is to scare people who are already afraid of guns. When you say it can fire 1100 rounds per minute all they hear is that it can kill 1100 people per minute! Think of how many people it can kill in 5 minutes!?!

This would be a situation where shooting “gangsta style” would actually make sense.

Muzzle climb plus gangsta style tends to mean hitting a lot of people in a line, as if they were using an UZI or Mac 10.
