re: Have you noticed many of the DSA candidates are now centrist Christians?

Package the DSA candidate up as a centrist Christian as a means to dupe low info and low IQ voters.
What they are doing is claiming their weird alternative version of Christianity is being Christian. It's worse than claiming they are Christian because they are trying to reinvent what the Bible says so that people believe their view. If this works for them it will be threat to Christianity to be replaced by a made up religion based on political ideology.

Surely you do mot understandable context

Millions of Christians know next to nothing about the faith they profess, some of the issues they support politically are diametrically opposed to the teachings of Jesus but they have no idea what the Bible actually says. It’s an emotion based faith dictated by their own personal opinions. “I have a personal relationship with Jesus and he knows my heart so that makes it ok!” The whole notion of a “personal relationship” is nowhere in the Bible and watching them twist themselves into knots over homosexuality, abortion, social grievances, etc. as if they are based on the teachings of Jesus are hilarious. James Talarico and all the other fake preachers masquerading as “Christians” would be well advised to read the Bible on the consequences of false teachings and leading others astray. They face a more strict judgement and “would be better off not having been born”. Bold strategy for them and their supporters, good luck! Lol hope it pays off

Since you are a Biblical scholar, do believers have a responsibility to address sinful behavior? It’s a pretty straightforward and easy to answer question. Once you use Google to look up the answer, what is the consequence for continuing to live in sin? Those two answers will help you understand what the Bible actually teaches and not your feelings. This should help you understand what the Bible actually teaches on homosexuality and abortion, you know two the major parts of the Democrat platform. I look forward to your “thou shall not judge” and “we are supposed to love the sinner” gibberish. Spoiler alert: condoning sinful behavior is just bad as the behavior itself. You know like showing up at a pro lgbtq rights, abortion rights, favoring a certain gender or race rights rallies.

Not explain the context??? If it's anything gay then we follow the law anything but to do with gays we don't? Aren't all levitical laws no longer valid since the gospel of Jesus??

Or maybe different people follow different denominations which have different ways of interpreting the Bible.
No one is right over the other.
You can write novel length posts explaining your views. But not everyone shares those views nor do they have to.

Another “Christian” who knows nothing about the Bible lol are you under the impression that God has changed or the New Testament doesn’t address homosexuality? Clearly you are, let me help you out: Galations chapter 6, Ephesians chapter 5, 1 Corinthians chapter 6.
Posted on 10/24/26 at 2:27 pm to Napoleon
Yeah that’s what the Bible teaches “just interpret it anyway you want because I don’t like the actual meaning” homeboy you are just wasting your time if that’s what you have gleaned from attending church which is also a direct quote from the Bible addressing what you just said.

You must be a Baptist. You guys never could understand denominations.

You are a fricking retard. Post less.

Corinthians mentions drunkards and Ephisians mentions greed in the same line. How come we don't focus on greed and drunkards like we do gays?

Love watching your team get skull fricked right now. Lol. War Eagle.

You still have contextual problems because you cherry pick verses and ignore the entire passage. This is very typical of those who support sinful behavior often to justify their pwn actions.

So do you own all the bad people in your side too.
A crazed person shoots a guy and now an entire party is to blame?
Quite a reach.

No I see the entire verse. You guys are focused on the homo stuff and not the rest of the verses. Levitucus can't even be taken seriously. It's old laws. No one follows those laws except for orthodox jews. Then you have other quotations but in this it mentions other sins that aren't looked down upon like homosexuality.

Galatians 5 explains a lot...some of the words should be looked up to completely understand them.
Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
Gal 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary the one to the other; so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Gal 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these, Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Gal 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Gal 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like; of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance; against such there is no law.
Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

So according to you Paul was incorrect in his writing and if that is true you don't believe that the Bible is 100% the inspired words of God.
Posted on 10/24/26 at 7:58 pm to Napoleon
Your Biblical ignorance is comical. You talk about the Old Testament like it’s not the same God. I didn’t mention several other examples not written by Paul since his writings are just made up lol why do you even bother wasting your time going to church?
