I mean Satan quoted scripture when he tempted Jesus in the desert. Hearing how some of these “Christians” pervert the Bible has to make him proud.

Ah the old "they can't be Christian if they aren't republican" dumb arse trope.

people can call themselves w/e they want since we as humans don't have the faculties of divine justice. we can decide not to go along with child sacrifice because doing so may be advantageous to our wallet.

• 1 John 3:6: "No one who remains in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him".

• 1 John 3:9: "No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God".

homosexuality is a sin
abortion is sin
stirring up trouble is sin
divorce is sin

Jesus once asked the poor why they put up with the rich.

Technically Paul was quoting Jesus

Technically…
1. Jesus did not exist as a historical person on earth.
2. Paul’s genuine letters date to before the gospels so there would be no material to quote from except existing Jewish literature (Enoch, Jubilees, Giants, Noah, in addition to versions of the Torah and the prophets and psalms and wisdom).

quote:

and the Kingdom being the Church not an actual Earthly kingdom

You have renegotiated the text. The kingdom was, according to Paul, supposed to be ruled by the Lord Jesus after defeating all the other gods, earthly kings, and the wicked, then destroying and remaking the heavens and the earth, giving the righteous all new non-perishable pneumatic bodies, and ruling on the new earth. So you couldn’t be more wrong. The kingdom was a (remade) Earhly kingdom. Look up Revelation 21:1-3 (not Paul but similar theology) and Romans 8:21 and 1 Cor 15:24-25. There are many other similar verses too.

So OP, do you think that loving God and hating people is compatible?

The Bible literally says it isn't compatible.

Unfortunately for you, it's your side of the aisle that thinks it's ok to shoot someone in the neck for having a different opinion, that fought all the way to the Supreme Court for the right to discriminate against Asians in college admissions, and burns innocent people's businesses to the ground. None of which is loving your neighbor.

Where in the Bible does it say that?

there's a difference between hating someone directly, and hating their behavior.

A only a fool thinks that the Christian God is all loving, and doesn't hate sin.
