I strenuously avoid talking about politics IRL.

Actually lost a girlfriend over it. That said, the pussy wasn't that great anyway and it was getting time to move on. I was just surprised how emotional she got about me voting for Trump. I'll take a brief break, relish our political victory, and then re-open snatch season.

It was. Girl was originally a south LA coonass, but spent a few years in California and got brainwashed. She came back to Louisiana and is not really fitting in well at all.

If you have lost friends over politics then you weren't friends anyway

I just had people from the left who accused me of voting for trump when I said I wasn't voting for hillary when I didn't vote for him. I also had people on the right who accused me of voting for hillary when I said I wasn't voting for trump but I didn't vote for her either. As a conservitive I'm happy the republican party won but I'm not happy at all with the candidate we nominated as president. For example I love lsu football but I hated les miles who was the head coach. I'm not the type to hate or stop talking to somebody just because of who they elected as president and I respect all my friends on who they voted for. I hope they will do the same for me.

How about all of the above?

At least my dog didn't argue with me. Hell, she voted for Trump too. Dog had more goddamned sense than the girl.

I didn't vote either. And before the election I had the same opinion as you, but I think that had more to do with me buying into what the media was selling. Since the election I've read more and blocked out the crap from the media and really liked what I see.

On Tuesday I tried to think how I would feel based on each candidate winning. I felt like if Hillary won I'd be disappointed, but that's it. And I felt like if Trump won I'd feel a slight sense of optimism.

Since then I'm damn glad Hillary didn't win and get more and more optimistic about Trump.

I literally just lost a client today.

Wasn't big, but she is an artist/wedding planner and an avowed SJW, African-American activist as well.

She posted three things about Bannon being an "avowed White Supremicist", I openly questioned her on the factual situation, she and her friends lost it, she called me this evening and said we could no longer do business.

Not a huge loss, and I figured it might be an outcome of the questioning, but this outcry from the left about race at every corner is really beginning to get under my skin.....AND I HAVE A MINOR IN AFRICAN-AMERICAN STUDIES.

Yes. I was banging this girl for a few weeks and she was pissed I was voting for him but she never thought he would win. She stormed out of my place around 1am after it was obvious he would win. She threw a tantrum and started cussing and crying and told me she hated me and all Trump supporters. I told her to get on out the door and she was never welcome in the winners circle again. She threw a glass at me and missed. I asked her what it felt like to get her pussy smashed by a Trumpkin and that no matter what she thought of me every time I think of Trump I would think of how I enjoyed railing her. Told her that her box and Trump would always make me smile and that I would never be able to think about one without thinking about the other. I told her thanks for letting me stuff my ballot up in her Trump box. She left in a screaming fit.

I lost a friend, but from my side of the issue. I just noted that saying not my president is stupid because whether you like it or not, if you are an American, Trump is your president. I was cursed out, then told a bunch of bullshite about my "privilege" that was super irrelevant to anything. I responded back saying that her attitude and people like her are exactly how Trump was able to win the election. It's just foolishness. I lean slightly liberal in my beliefs and wound up voting for Hillary in the end because I really don't like Trump and didn't agree with the third party choices, but I can't fricking stand liberals in general. They are so fricking uninformed but act like they know everything. They preach tolerance but have zero tolerance for anybody that doesn't agree with them. It's like, frick you, Declan, you entitled twat, I'm going to vote for the candidate who's views most reflect my own.

Don't think I've lost any friends yet. But I certainly think differently of a good number of people that before last Tuesday I considered pretty level-headed and rational. When in fact, they're quite the opposite.
