Have you ever had to admit you were wrong about a POTUS?

When I was 20 years old I was a hard partying, beer drinking, whiskey swilling, dope smoking liberal and I hated Reagan. He was going to harden the laws for marijuana use and for selling weed. When he was nearly assassinated I remember all my party baws were somewhat sad that he survived.

By the time I was 30 I was ashamed of my previous life and particularly ashamed that myself and my friends were disappointed Reagan survived an assassination attempt. What changed? I quit getting high, got married and put my family ahead of my desires......I grew the frick up!!!!
Once I accepted responsibility for my life I then understood how much Reagan meant to the conservatives of America....Reagan was a good man and a very good POTUS. I admit Reagan was good for America and I admit I was a young impetuous punk who was only worried about the next party.

If America maintains it’s place in the global hierarchy I wonder how many anti Trumpers and young progressives will look back in 10-20 years and realize how wrong they were believing Trump was the problem? Hmmmm?

His last two years as prez is what brought him down in my book. Kinda let the Dem House run roughshod over him without fighting back.

I liked W and this killed me.

But after being exposed to the Uniparty theory, I have soured on him even more.
I didn't vote for Barry, but I didn't think he'd be that bad. Economically, he was.

Opposite here

Lost all respect for Reagan over Iran-Contra, not the act itself but the cowardly cover-up and blaming everyone else for what he failed to recollect.

Shameful

I originally had politicians rather than POTUS in the OP title, but I agree with the two skunk globalists in your post.

I was pulling for Obammy when he won the GE but it didn’t take long for Obammy to morph into the Great Divider......If the corruption surrounding his administration gets fully exposed he’ll go down as the worst POTUS in US history...the Deep State Dims are working 24/7/365 to PRESERVE HIS LEGACY!!!!! Lol

Obama talked a good talk in 2008 and had a good voting record for civil liberties enthusiasts, at least in contrast to mccain.

That turned out well.

yes, at 18 in 76 I was raised a liberal by my liberal parents who were teachers at my high school in the SF Bay Area(Alameda), voted for Jimmy, in 80 there was no way I would vote for that clown again, wasn't ready to vote R so went I, then after watching RR for four years, and owning my own Pizza place in SoCal I could see that lib laws didn't work in the real world so in 84 went with RR

Same here with Dubya. Also wasn’t POTUS but I also liked Romney a lot in 2012.

It’s obvious he was a fraud and I’m glad he wasn’t elected because 8 years of Obama got us Trump
