I recall a poll about 6 months ago which showed that 44% of Millennial think Socialism is good and would be their preferred economic system/form of government.
Ask an average Millennial to describe a Socialist economic system/ form of government and what % of them do you think could come close to giving you an acceptable answer?

You baws on here who wallow in paranoia about the imminent socialist threat are laughable.

And those who think that every Democrat is ready to blindly follow everything that spews out of AOC's mouth are even more laughable.

The right-leaning part of the media would love to be able to whip their watchers/listeners into a frenzy over that. Looks like they are doing a pretty good job so far.

Well, that's funny. Seems like every Democrat presidential candidate so far has pledged his or her support to the Green New Deal. Not to mention that a planned rebuke of Ilhan Omar's anti-Semitism couldn't even pass the House, and had to be watered down so significantly that Omar actually helped craft the final version that didn't even mention her by name.

Perhaps it is you who either 1) doesn't know, or 2) is in denial about how far Left the Democrat Party has strayed?

I respectfully disagree. Most Bernout supporters who knew he was straight up cucked in the primaries still voted for Hillary because of OMB.

Of course, you have some semi-legitimate source for your claim that Omar helped craft the final version, yes?.

Here's an article that discusses the background of the internal debate on the resolution. LINK

The interpretation of Omar's remarks as being anti-Semitic, rather than anti-Israel, is based on the supposition that any suggestion that American Jews have dual alliance to America and Israel, is, in itself, anti-Semitic.

It is questionable/doubtful that Omar, when she made her statement, appreciated the implication of her suggestion of dual alliance.

It is not questionable that the vitriol in response to her statement was, in part, based on that fact that she is Muslim.

Yes but only the ones on the Left and that's why our resident Libs are so upset with threads pointing out her/their shared stupidity.

So the fact that they are also stupid means that the whole socialism thing is no threat?

Well that is just God damned brilliant!

Leftists always deny what they are in the face of blatant evidence to the contrary of their denial.

Come up with something else.

In my admittedly conservative way of thinking, stupidity and an affinity for Socialism go hand-in-hand. Actually, I would substitute the word "ignorance" for stupidity, which just serves to highlight the second point I made about far too many Millennials (not all), which is they were betrayed by their educators who were and are from different generations. Too bad more conservatives don't pursue the teaching profession, although I think I know why that is.

Besides, I was just asking the question because AOC has hit the public spotlight like a comet headed for Cuba.

So far, nobody has mentioned anybody else as being the face of the Millenial generation. As of right now, who is her competition?

You forgot the last part of my post which applies directly to you.

The only question is -- are you more gullible than paranoid, or more paranoid than gullible.

If AOC is the face of anything it is ultimate ignorance

Strawman

Your typical hit-and-run idiocy.

You make some ignorant, asinine, passing comment and then disappear so as not to expose your simple-mindedness by engaging in meaningful discussion.

Millennials are now aged 23-39.

If you were born in the late 80s you’re right in the middle.

No, but she receives a lot of media attention despite her extremely poor grasp of economics and politics. I'm being very generous when I say she is not far off of the normal every day mouth breathing millennial that supports a political system that they know little to nothing about at all.

She is easy on the eyes, and outspoken. She pontificates the message of the left and the socialist movement for which she is greatly inept to carry.

Dumb group think often follows dumb group think leader. It's the cultural shift in America.
