Maybe so but no one can argue with what he wrote. Harvard is very strict when it comes to plagiarism by the students, but not so much when it came to their president.

Her problem is that when she was doing all of that plagiarizing, software didn't exist to check for it. She knew no one would manually check her work back then...she's a trifecta diversity candidate—black, female, and gay. All she had to do was show up.
But now anybody who wants to can run her old papers through the software. And that Senate hearing put her on everyone's radar.
Thing is, I'm sure the other two presidents got checked the same way. Funny that they weren't diversity hires and no one has accused them of anything.
EDIT: I guess they were diversity hires by virtue of being women, but they were still pretty low down on the list of cumulative criteria for intersectional victimhood.

And yeah. I'll bet that there are plenty of professors shaking in their boots right about now. Not just at Harvard, pretty much everywhere.
I predict it won't be long before a story surfaces in which a student somewhere has blackmailed a professor for an A or to get out of some misconduct situation with proof of his or her plagiarism.
It's just too easy to check for now and now that the idea is out there...I give it 9 months.
