quote:Yeah, because people do not blame the party in power when things go bad. It is amazing how much you protect Trump. He will be responsible for this because his policies have SUCKED. He has not done crap for the USA minus closing the border. And that was the easiest thing to do. He has failed.
Trump also isn’t on the ballot genius so your blame for Trump has no position on congressional seats.

I think Dems will end up with 52-53 Senate seats
2026 senate map favors republicans
even if republicans lose all 4 "toss up states" and also lose lean rep Ohio , its still a 50/50 tie, with VP tilting back republican
and one of the 4 toss ups is Maine with Collins who votes with Dems almost as much as republicans

In a wave election, GOP could lose Senate seats in TX, OH, ME, NE, AK and IA. That gets you to 53 Democratic senators. The Democrats are doing a good job of selecting "moderate" charlatans in NE/IA/AK/OH that could fool a lot of people.

Congress has worked against everything he’s wanted. If you were smart you would’ve voted in the primary to get these career congressmen out of office. Nobody is really believing you because you really have no sense of how things truly work or what’s happening in government.

Senate seats in NE/IA/TX/AK are real threats to being lost in this cycle as well.

See MAGA will blame everyone but daddy. I will not bend the knee to a fool. So much hope going into this term and it has turned into a crap sandwich.

Fine, stick it to Trump. But do not type one frickin letter of a post here when the left shreds the constitution and ushers in more socialistic marxism than they ever have before. You wanna die on this hill, go ahead. But don't cry and whine later when the left sticks it up our arses.

we already have so many policies in this country that are socialist programs. Have you seen the military budget? they haven't passed an audit in 20yrs. this war will end up costing us a Trillion dollars. I would so rather see that trillion dollars actually spent on Americans instead of a useless ego driven war.

I'm not at all saying Trump has been perfect. I'm telling you it's a moronic idea to hand power to the democrats.

This frickwad is going to sit home to stick it to trump and let the folks who think the Gayz of Hormuz are being discriminated against in Iran select our new leadership.

In fairness, one doesn't exactly need to be a clairvoyant soothsayer to see that the RINOs are actively working to throw the midterms.
They won't even pass the SAVE Act, which is literally an 82/18 issue.

Hes like the idiots who said they weren’t going to vote for Trump in the last election and Trump ended up winning the popular vote
Posted on 4/2/26 at 10:03 am to GeneralLee
So the country is ready to go back to humor less, uncut Marxist identity politics, would be a massive shame, we've just started getting out from under that. And they're promising to be so much more aggressive with it this time.

This is where I'll cut Trump some slack. He hasn't been perfect by any means but it's not like the party has helped him much. Idk what people expect him to do on issues like the Save Act when his own party can't stop tripping over their own peckers.

We’ll be out of Iran long before midterms. Population has short memories.

Highly unlikely in Ne, IA, AK and TX and probably ohio.
Only Maine and NC are toss ups. With NC you have to take account of immigration gains that lean R. Especially true in texas. Balkinization of states heavily favors Republicans.
Here is an article describing what has occured in arizona regarding voter registration. This could absolutely be in play in places like NC, Texas and Georgia who have added thousands in population.

It would be one thing if his argument was to stay home because of career politicians that don’t deserve a vote but to blame it on Trump who isn’t part of the election is just admitting he’s an uniformed unintelligent lazy voter.
