You sound deranged. My point was to keep them safe bc people are aholes and go so far as to shoot and poison them on their own property. Happens in Louisiana quite often. If Haitians were running around stealing and eating pets, mine sure wouldn’t be outside without me.

Growing up my Dad raised goats and would sell them sometimes for meat.
Well one time these middle eastern men came to the yard and actually sliced the back leg of one to see if the meat tasted good.
Big time shite exploded , with my Dad telling them this is America, we don’t do that shite here.
That was in the mid 1980s…. It’s sad to think how bad it is now.

My Vietnamese neighbors growing up told us they ate dogs in Vietnam. However, when they came to the US, they assimilated and ceased the practice. Perhaps it was a necessity in Vietnam, I’m not going to judge. However, as I said, they assimilated, and actually had pet dogs. I don’t understand why this concept is so hard for so many other cultures.
