Hillary accepted the same award 10 years later.

These phrases are part of the textbook definition of a Trump supporter.

It's weird, he assumed, because they were the prime suspects, that they were guilty and he complained about cops being free to do their jobs and he was labeled racist. I'll never understand progressives.
After the guy that actually committed the rape confessed and his DNA matched, Trump still claimed the original CP-5 were guilty. Even during the campaign in 2016 Trump complained about the civil settlement the city paid to the Cp-5, saying it was outrageous the city settled for anything when there was so much evidence against the CP-5.

A photograph shows Donald Trump, Muhammad Ali, and Rosa Parks after receiving the Ellis Island Medal of Honor in 1986.

No one accused Donald Trump of being a racist until he decided to run for president and became a threat to Hillary Clinton’s return to power.

In 1986, Trump joined several other prominent Americans, such as Rosa Parks and Muhammad Ali, as recipients of an “Ellis Island Award.”

One suspects if Trump was a racist, there’s no way he would have posed for a photo with those two.

Trump's companies were sued by the federal government in the 1980s for disciminating against certain black people.

He agreed to it and paid a fine.

So, yes, he has admitted to discriminating decades before running for office.

There was no fine and it was settled with a “no admission of guilt.” The order required Trump’s organization to post signs of non-discriminatory signs, allocate a percentage of the marketing budget to market to minorities, and to educate staff on discriminatory practices.

It was a pretty minor settlement compared some of the other companies cited by the DOJ.

The government cited evidence discrimination individual situations but no institutionalized discrimination as it concerned Trump’s company.

Don’t forget that Trump also hates gays

Yep although he was the first presidential candidate to openly support gay marriage from the start of his campaign. Obama nor Hillary can claim that.

You are completely amazing. You are the epitome of a Fifth Avenue Trumper. You could watch Trump shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and still vote for him.

No, he didn't get an award for his contributions to the African American community (which is what you posted).

He got an award as a publicity stunt from a group that was formed by his realtor because they couldn't buy one from a legit group.

God, this schtick gets old.

Do I think Trump is any more racist than any other white New Yorker? No, probably not.

But the implication that he has never been ACCUSED of racism is so stupid that anyone who spreads it should be strapped to a chair and forced to listen to 72 straight hours of Louis Farrakhan speeches.

He was sued for racially-discriminatory rental practices in his NYC properties, and he paid millions of dollars to settle those claims.

No, that does not PROVE he is racist. As I said, I doubt that he IS especially racist. But stop pretending that this is some new, politically-motivated hit-job.

It is very much a political hit job and you have to have an IQ of a duffle bag to believe otherwise.

Pretty sure it came up several times when he sent his team to Hawaii to investigate Obama's birth certificate.

True. Trump was the first year. 80 recipients that year. Not so much the more prestigious award it later became.

Yea, no way he could be a racist when he picked Stephen Miller and Steve Bannon as two of his closest advisors.
