"So everyone in the company pays more for less!"

Yes. Understanding someone isn't hard when you try. I know it isn't the TD poliboard way.

I actually think the opposite is true. It looks like he stated his position accurately.

Okay, so he's getting less for more even though he's getting the same for more.

I give.

30% increase. Will you guys looks for other vendors?

Nope. ADP is about the "cheapest" we can find.

No worries though. ADP handles the insurance for 6 million WORKING americans.

I'm sure democrats have NOTHING to worry about.

The best part of the meeting were the known Democrats reactions. They were like (seriously)

Forgot to mention... Our plans are "Cadillac plans". 2016 is going to ROCK!!!

We've got a Cadillac plan. At 9:32AM this morning, I stroked a check for $18k on something that would have been covered last year. I'm still in shock. Decency and decorum prohibit me from posting anything about Obamacare until I cool down.

fwiw our new policy went into affect an April 1st. Premium increased by 297 per month. Deductible increased from 600 to 750, Dr. Visits increased from 15 to 25, med copay from 10 to 20 and emergency room copay from 100 to 200. Plus we now pay an extra 30 a month for ophthalmology coverage, which was included in the premium before.

My statement of "So everyone in the company pays more for less!" is not hyperbole. Hyperbole is "WildTchoupitoulas has been told a million times he's a fricking moron, but he still hasn't accepted this". Million times = hyperbole. It's probably more in the 750 range. But I digress. Everyone paying MORE for LESS is not a hyperbole when the statement is in fact true. I pay 30% MORE for the "similar" coverage (prescriptions, appointments, etc) but get LESS COVERAGE of my out of pocket expenses. So instead of paying the first $1000, I now pay the first $3000. I pay more but get less coverage for my out of pocket expenses. Does that make sense to you now? Or do I need to make it 751?

Wow.

Maybe if you had simply said, "So I have to pay MORE for the SAME damn coverage!!!1!" then you wouldn't have to explain anything, it would have been quite clear - and I would have sympathized.

The problem seems to be that everyone assumes that I support Obamacare just because I didn't understand your "More for less when less is the same" statement, and anyone suspected of being an Obamacare supporter is going to have poo dumped on their head.

I don't support Obamacare, but I am tired of people making exaggerated claims. That only serves to make it more difficult to determine just what and where the problems with it are. [inb4, "You dumbass, WT, the problems with it are EVERYTHING and they are EVERYWHERE!!!11!!]

You said you mis-typed your statement in the OP. I believe you. Then came all manner of ridiculous gerrymandering arguments to try to show how what you typed was accurate.

I'll go ahead and agree with you that you mis-typed your intended statement in the OP.

Good grief. Would you be willing to share with the class your experience on what is no longer covered?

Didn't you chide me for this earlier?

Again, not that it matters. That's not the issue here.

The issue is more money gone from my pocket INTO the hands of the insurance companies. Who, by the way, LOVE Obamacare.
