Gaius Octavius is supposed to have said that he found Rome a city of bricks and left it a city of marble. Much of the marble came from northern Africa, which the Romans conquered and tore down, then shipped to Rome.

I'm well aware. The ancient Egyptians were indeed more closely related to Europeans than modern day Egyptians, but that doesn't make them Caucasian. They were an indigenous northeastern African people with heavy western Asian genetics. Varying skin tones (often reddish or brown in art). Applying strictly black or white labels to their population is anachronistic.
I mean, you see genetic resemblance between Polynesians and groups of people in Brazil. Going both ways. But you wouldn't call Polynesians Brazilian.

Most of the marble that the Romans used to build their cities came from a well-known quarry in Italy that is still in use. They also used quarries in Anatolia and North Africa to a lesser extent.
Did they take architectural prizes from places that they conquered? Yes, but that was not the claim that you made.

The quoted post above is simply not true. I don't give a frick about the "black woman" part of the video in the OP. Nobody is in here arguing that Africans (let alone black Africans) built ancient Greece. That idea is ridiculous.

Partly is an adverb meaning to some degree or extent, but not completely. It is used to indicate that something exists or happens in part, rather than wholly.

Well, they were busy building civilizations so the white folks could thrive and therefore didn't have time to build for themselves. If anything, it shows how selfless they really are.
