The downtrodden from all corners of this celestial ball

Oh frick off with this. You were trying to say that Egypt wasn't African and instead is Middle Eastern.
Mediterranean is a better description for this discussion.
Which is still vastly distinct from SSA, wihch is the relevant distinction.
I'll repeat this again for you
quote:
Sunny Hostin, in the clip in OP, specifically uses the term "black woman"
"Black woman" requires SSA ancestry.

incredible culture and architecture that was there?
Monolithic churches carved directly from the bedrock in Ethiopia (at least 11 of them):
Mortarless walls standing 30 feet in height in Zimbabwe built with finely fitted and precisely cut granite blocks:
There are more pyramids found in Sudan than there are Egypt (over 200 of them):
To say that there wasn't incredible architecture in Africa is fricking stupid.
As with most things, people here are far too reactionary. So because this stupid woman on The View said something wrong about Africa, people here now try to pretend that Africans have always been stupid and incapable of creating anything impressive. It's ridiculous.

Egypt is culturally and politically a middle-eastern country. I'm not even sure why you would argue against this. Yes technically the country is partly, or mostly, or partially whatever word you want to say on the African continent. I'm not disputing that. The Egyptian country and people, ancient or today, are not what any common person would classify as "African" people. Go back to my Russia example, no one would classify Russians as Asians, even though they're located on the Asian continent.
If the best example you have of Africa being developed is an ancient civilization of middle eastern/caucasian people bordering both Africa and Asia, then you aren't making the point you think you're making.

How tall are these pyramids?
4 Kushite pyramids
1 pyramid in Egypt
Which is more impressive?

Are you denying that monolithic churches carved straight from bedrock in Ethiopia are "incredible architecture?" Because they are.

Sunny Hostin
Yea Her Momma pretended to be black for decades.
quote:
Sunny Hostin had to have a tough conversation with her mother after taking part in Finding Your Roots.
During Thursday's episode of The View, the 55-year-old co-host detailed how her mom Rosa Beza reacted Finding Your Roots host Henry Louis Gates, Jr. telling Hostin that her maternal ancestors had "likely" owned slaves.
That her third great-grandfather was "the son of a merchant who was likely involved in the slave trade" and had owned at least one person was just one of many "surprising revelations about my family history," Hostin said on The View. While telling the panelelist that her forebears from Galicia, Spain, had moved to Puerto Rico as "enslavers," Hostin also revealed that she'd learned on the PBS genealogy series that she is only 7 percent indigenous Puerto Rican.
"It was deeply disappointing, because my mother really identified as Puerto Rican. She was part of the civil rights movement, and she was deeply ingrained in Black culture and identified herself as Black race but Hispanic for ethnicity, but her race is white — she’s European," Hostin explained.
"I know, it’s weird, because when you look at her, my mother’s blonde and she has light eyes, and my whole family looks like that. I think inside, I sort of knew that this was my history and that’s probably why I didn’t want to do it."
If my momma can be black then Greeks can be black.

Your words

over 200 of them
To emphasize how impressive their culture was, to make Egypt's look worse.
Why try to overrate the Kushite empire by using a large number when they're like 1-2 story nothing pyramids? Especially when compared to the massive ones we see in Egypt?
Also, do you care to address the words of Sunny Hostin or are you going to avoid responding for the 3rd time now?

I already have. Multiple times. Try reading the thread, dumbass.

Ethiopia is similar to Egypt in that due to its trade, it developed more than what's considered traditional SSA because of its location on the Horn of Africa.
The vast majority of SSA was in the Stone Age when Europeans started colonizing it in the 18th and 19th centuries. Explain to me how advanced they were.

Where did you specifically respond to her usage of "Black" and not "African"?
Link the posts.

So for the sake of discussion, why don't we just make a list of African nations that you idiots are trying to claim aren't actually African nations?

Then can they explain some of the peculiar behavior we see in the motherland, even in the modern era? Can they explain how even the domesticated ones we have here still have native tendencies?
And how the hell can an ancient civilization that invented the world go so fricking far backwards?
SMDH at this fairy tale shite.

I've never seen someone get their frickin arse handed to them as often and consistently as you do around here and still show up every day acting like you have any fricking clue as to what you're talking about. It is truly incredible.

The cargo cults must have been just as technologically advanced as us back then, they also made airplanes.

Did a "cargo cult" build this?
Pretty frickin impressive cargo cult there.
Must be a cargo cult that built this mosque in West Africa too.
Maybe the cargo cult carved and erected these massive obelisks in Ethiopia. The largest of which was over 500 tons.

Stupid bitch Hostin references Black Athena which is a work of fiction. Mary Lefkowitz skewers the hell out of this trash in her work, most importantly Not Out of Africa.
