This is madness that I am hearing from some of y'all. Intellectual diversity should be welcomed. Let the democrats be the party where there is no middle ground and all opposing views are shouted down.

Let McCain and Graham say what they want. And they should let you be against them as well.

Debate within the party will lead to more solid planks and a more enduring platform that is durable.

Let's oppose the identity-obsessed dems by offering TRUE diversity: diversity of thought and policy, while still adhering to broad principles of limited government, markets, financial freedom, religious liberty, etc.

This isn't soviet russia where we purge fellow party members. Grow up and get to work! All hands on deck, folks!

Jason Chaffetz

quote:

"My wife, Julia and I, we have a 15-year-old daughter," Chaffetz said. "Do you think I can look her in the eye and tell her that I endorsed Donald Trump for president when he acts like this and his apology?

"This was not just locker talk -- this was offensive," he said. "I can't tell the good people of Utah that I endorsed a person who acts like this."

Asked whether Trump could do anything to make it up to voters and the Republican Party, Chaffetz responded, "I don't know."

Chaffetz said he "felt bad" for the country, adding that "everyone is going to have to figure this out" for themselves.

Cringeworthy melt!

You'll get hate, but I upvoted. That's not to say I think the likes of McCain and Graham shouldn't be voted out for being dickheads.

Grow up?

McCain and Graham are establishment pricks. Their agenda differs not from the Democratic elite.

The two party system needs to go away, and the sooner yall realize the party elite are in bed with each other, the sooner you will understand that.

An R or D doesn't necessarily mean that a politician is standing up for your interests, liberal or conservative.

that has NOTHING to do with what he said - you misquoted him by omitting a key element "against Trump" and answered a question that was not part of the conversation

I am not a fan of McCain or Graham & am disgusted by many of their recent positions; but your reply was textbook what we complain about leftists doing...

There is a pretty big difference in denouncing everyone in your party that doesn't believe the exact same things as you on every policy, and denouncing some of your party elite for being treasonous and having agendas that you feel like are done intentionally or at least knowingly for the detriment of this country.

I'm not a fan of them, especially right now, but this is laughable.

Right now, the democratic elites are Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Charles Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Debra Wasserman Schultz, and Keith Ellison (a Farrakahn disciple).

In no way do these guys resemble them in rhetoric or policy.
