Washington State will never see any breaks. Our fuel prices are going through the roof especially diesel in their new budget - tax scam.

Something positive happened under Trump’s administration and I refuse to acknowledge that.
That’s all you had to say from the beginning.

Paid $70 for 7 lbs of sirloin last weekend at a local grocer. The meat market folks said the price was 6.99/lb 2 weeks ago… they said they were astounded that it went up that much basically overnight. Went to WalMart thinking I’d get better bulk pricing… NOPE! Sirloin at WallyWorld was $3 MORE per lb. Freaking $13/lb!!!

Quality meats and produce are going to cost us dearly (stay away from Walmart meats. Reports of magnetic properties, "glued" meats, etc.)
The number of farms, dairies, food processing plants, herds of livestock and chicken farms destroyed and tainted by Big Pharm adulteration since 2020 is astronomical. AND STILL NOT ADDRESSED BY CONGRESS OR PRESIDENT.
Bottomline: We who shop food & groceries know undoubtedly that there is absolutely ZERO reduction of food prices. They keeps on rising. (The claimed 0.4% "decline" is the usual govt smoke and mirrors hocus-pocus.)

Just to be clear, I think this means that prices are not increasing at the former rate.
BINGO.
At best this is called a "Pyrrhic" victory.

I went to the one in Suwanee Georgia near my office. They used to be $14.99 a pound and yesterday were $17.xx per pound. I bought a bunch of 85/15 grass fed beef instead.
$13.98/lb at my Sam’s Club.

Went grocery shopping on Monday. It's the first time I saw some items priced on sale a pre pandemic pricing.
Most of it was junk food, but it was cheaper.
For instance you used to get 2 bags of Lays for $4.99
After covid they were up to around 2 for $7.99
This week they were on sale for 1.99 a bag.
Coke & Pepsi also were priced down to pre pandemic prices but on sale.
2ltr of Diet Coke had got up to $2.97, they were on sale for $1.18 each.
Just need that beef to come on back down, but that isn't happening anytime soon.

I sure haven’t really noticed decreases at the stores except for eggs going back down.
I've been buying a 6 pack and a bottle of wine on Fridays for my wife and I for a few years now. It got all the way up to $33. It's down to $26 and some change now. Thats definitely noticeable.
