Not if the ice cube isn’t sitting in your glass of bourbon.

You are trying to be cute
I'm pointing out with a bit of sarcasm that repeated, regular, undulating 0.11Ma stadials are not caused by random volcanic eruptions and CO2-producing cowfarts. A fluctuating source of energy abruptly entered the equation 2.6 million years ago and accounts for our current ice age.
This is NOT a random pattern. Nor is it CO2 driven.
CO2 in nature is a lagging indicator and incidental contributor, not the driver of climate.

Pour water in a glass. Take some out and freeze it
So here is your baseline, with all the water in the glass. If all the ice sheets melted (Something not even AlGore predicts), sea level would increase about 200ft, and this is what our map (your full glass) would look like.

There's a far cry from 250 ppm CO2 in 1950 to over 400 ppm today. And you're worried about magnetic fields and almost immeasurable changes in seasonal tilts!
FWIW, without our magnetosphere, that also comes from the same source below the earths crust that produces the poles we do not have an atmosphere that would support life on earth.

So the poles are changing ends?
That would suddenly match our nation.
What was up will be down and versa vica.

Check the movement of the magnetic poles. While Greenland is warming because it is not as far north other areas are getting colder as the have shifted into a colder area. Changes in tornado alley can be connected directly to this as well.
The magnetic poles may only have slight impact on weather. The poles have always been moving, varying in strength, and even switching polarity.
The wobble in the earth’s rotation would do more to affect the seasons and weather more. There are so many factors at play we really have an incomplete picture of the true forces working to keep weather in balance. Historical variations in solar intensity are a guess at best and trying predict the future intensity is speculation at best.
Heck, even a massive volcanic eruption would do more to affect the global weather pattern than banning the use of all fossil fuels.

No one cares about what happens to the magnetic poles. It doesn't effect the climate at all.
What's heating up the Earth is mankind's churning out stifling quantities of carbon dioxide. ICEs, gas appliances, coal-fired power plants, gas-fired power plants, and flatulent herbivores all generate atmospheric carbon gases, and it's making the planet too warm and melting ice sheets and glaciers everywhere.
There's a far cry from 250 ppm CO2 in 1950 to over 400 ppm today. And you're worried about magnetic fields and almost immeasurable changes in seasonal tilts!
It's all about proportions, man...
How do people like this even get out of bed in the morning?

How many variables do you think go into a system like the earth to change the temperature reading of the earth by 1 degree?
Also, what is the optimal temperature of the earth and how did you come to that number?
Posted on 1/19/23 at 6:29 am to NC_Tigah
The Earth is 4.3 Billion years old. Human existence and influence on earth is a gnat's fart in relation to the age of the earth and global climate patterns since formation. There have been proven wild global climate variations since formation. How do you explain that, with no human influence, climate freaks? I'll help you. There's this thing called "axis". It's always moving.

I was reading her post and didn't even know where to begin. I gave up- she is too lost to be helped
She should quit pooping if she really wants to help save the earth. Her methane is a major factor- the amount of shite in her posts raises the earth's temp by a couple degrees by herself

We have a magnetosphere and an atmosphere (too rich in carbon gases). What difference does it make if magnetic north is over the North Pole, or over Jamaica? Its movement does not affect climate. Let me repeat that: its position does not affect climate!
Pumping out greenhouse gases into the air heats up our planet, sir. We're facing a climate calamity!

Definitely need more taxes to fix this problem. Money sent to the beltway is always money well spent and is never used to turn a bartender into a millionaire overnight

Because we're capable of rational thought, sir. We're not sponges that simply absorb the next faddish far-right talking point.
Magnetic field shift affects climate...silly, silly.

In fact, the researchers' study demonstrates that there was four times as much CO2 in the atmosphere during the late Cretaceous Period compared to the 1900’s industrial era – with CO2 levels even higher than today.
I...for one...am looking forward to the return of the dinosaurs.
