The way you know this is working is because you have not been hearing any Doctors come out with any data even limited in nature against it. Sure many are saying its not approved but overwhelmingly the limited data has all been positive. So far the only negative is some a-hole in Arizona who didn't even have the virus drank fish cleaner.

Well, you're not because this isn't some experimental drug. Now, it's got side effects, but largely with chronic use (or very high dosing). But, we have decades of history of treating autoimmune disorders with this drug.
The really good news in all of this is - so far HCQ looks better than Cloroquine Phosphate against Wuhan, but it is generally the safer and less toxic of the two (albeit more expensive).

It looks like nausea an diarrhea are the main side effects. Seems like you could avoid those, by giving the med IV.

Short-term, that's true. It is not an anti-flammatory (or steroid), but acts like some of them, long-term - eye problems, liver problems, but shouldn't be an issue here, especially with 400mg loading doses.
