Grand jury does not indict in death of Mississippi teen Nolan Wells

In a grand jury report released to the public Monday, jurors said they found “no credible evidence” to support the public allegations that anyone who was with Wells when he disappeared while celebrating the Fourth of July on Horn Island engaged in criminal conduct related to his death. The state also released the autopsy of the 18-year-old high school football star, ruling Wells’ death undetermined and inconclusive.

The grand jury, which was sworn in on April 20, is made up of 25 jurors from Jackson County, ranging in age from 27 to 68. Twelve jurors are White, five are Black, one is Asian, two are Hispanic, two are Native American and another identified as “other,” according to the report.
Jurors issued 132 subpoenas and heard from 43 witnesses as part of their investigation. Seven individuals were called to testify before the grand jury.
The jury also had full access to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office investigation into Wells’ death, including witness testimony, cell phone records, and videos and recordings. The grand jury heard testimony from the forensic pathologist Wells’ family retained to conduct an independent autopsy and requested all additional evidence gathered by the family’s legal team, according to the report.

The only reasonable explanation for the lack of evidence of a crime is due to racist water.

Against who? The DA's statement said that they had evidence that Nolan bought his own alcohol earlier that day and he willingly stayed behind on the island with others when the boat with his original party was leaving. Who is Crump going to sue now?
Unless you meant a defamation suit filed by the falsely accused boys where Crump is named as a defendant

It frickin' amazes me how Mississippi gets all the heat from legacy networks about their racial history and claims that it still exists there. They attempt to create false narratives, like the claim that blacks are being hung from trees by racist white people and murdered by their white friends on a Gulf coast island.
And there are some, sadly, who fall for this bullshite...like the grieving family of Nolan Wells, who were willingly manipulated by the high-profile attorney & part-time activist, Ben Crump.
Newsflash! The latest black person hung from a tree was put there by another black person. Not my opinion- it's a fact! And the case of Nolan Wells being murdered by his white friends on a Gulf Coast island is another lie that has been proven to be false. Not my opinion-it's a fact!
So, my advice to any black resident who strongly believes that their peers are being murdered by racists white folks left and right is: Pack your things, get in your car, and get the hell out of Mississippi!
But don't re-locate to a big city where your chances of being killed by another black person increases substantially.
