DeSantis took the lead on this to his credit. But real talk, they probably did this (SEE BELOW) to try to beat the SOLs...and this is how DeSantis knows to temper expectations.

South Carolina AG Alan Wilson took the lead...

quote:

In early 2025, a coalition of 17 Republican state attorneys general (led by South Carolina AG Alan Wilson)

Sent a letter seeking information from Congress for potential state-level investigations/prosecutions of Fauci, citing alleged misconduct (e.g., misleading statements on origins, NIH funding/gain-of-function research, and policy impacts).

Signatories included AGs from states such as Florida, Texas, Tennessee, Missouri, Louisiana, Alabama, and others.

washingtonexaminer.com +1

This reflected interest from multiple Republican-led states, but it was exploratory (requesting info) rather than active probes or charges at the time. No widespread follow-through into formal investigations has been reported beyond Florida’s recent action.

The hearing shaming Fauci is all they got.

Ron 'White Boots" DeSantis knows Fauci's funding of GOF experiments implicates Fauci in a corrupt organization to commit murder. I guarantee several Floridians lost their lives in Florida due to Fauci's influence and activity with the corrupt organization.

Then

quote:

President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that all executive orders, pardons, and documents signed via Biden's autopen carry no legal effect, claiming staff used the device without proper direct authorization.

Now

quote:

"He was pardoned by Biden, and I respect that," Trump told reporters on July 29. "I know how powerful it is. It's a very powerful - they say it's literally the most powerful thing a president has."

DeSantis is running for President, it wasn't long ago he blamed Trump for not firing Fauci. When Fauci and scarf lady fooled everyone including DeSantis.

DeSantis is right. Trump f**ked up big time by not firing Fauci. Trump should have fired Fauci early on. Also Trump f**ked up by not naming Ben Carson as the head of his Covid team. Pence is not an MD and therefore could not really fight back from a technical front.
