Desantis is doing a great job too. In fact better than Trump IMO. It's that Trump persona takes up the entire political space so it's difficult to see the other guys pushing back.
The right move is Trump now and Desantis later. Desantis is younger and his time will come

People over 45 had much cheaper college so I'm not sure it's the 'free college for everyone' that's driving those voters to Democrats.
We also used to just generally laugh off our wacky socialist professors rather than let them "indoctrinate" us.

His support never went anywhere.

Him and DeSantis should be leading the GOP, and the other frauds should be removed from office

Support among Republicans for former President Donald Trump and his likely 2024 bid is surging
Just a prediction, and I don't expect much agreement with it:
But in the event that Trump becomes the Republican nominee for 2024, then I predict that the Republican party will lose the popular vote again, as they have done for 7 of the last 8 national elections.
Time will tell.

Just chiming in to address the RINOs on this thread who think Trump’s crudeness needs to be addressed. The days of going along to get along are over. Democrats hate you, and they will always hate you. Get it through your heads.
Plus - I want to address the non-RINOs who think the R’s need to substitute Desantis as the 2024 nominee.
Trump and Desantis have the same policies. Desantis is the best Governor in the US and will be a better President than Trump. He’s great and I cannot say enough good things about him.
Trump, however, is kryptonite to leftists, Uniparty and
Democrats of all stripes. He is a fricking nuclear bomb on the political establishment and it’s time to drop it.
Electing Trump in 2024 is the only way to utterly and completely demoralize and cleanse DC; and the only hope for having the election system in this country investigated and corrected.
It will cleanse the R party of the Romneys and neuter them- and make Democrats too insane to function. It will also hopefully cause a bunch of them to go to jail.
Desantis is awesome but Trump has a devoted base that is unstoppable and will accept no other alternative. I would show up and vote for Desantis, but the truly hardcore Trump supporters will be nowhere to be found. I assure you if the GOP nominates any other candidate, Trump’s hardcore base - THAT HE BUILT ON HIS OWN will see it as a slight and ignore the nominee worse than the evangelicals ignored McCain and Romney.
Desantis is more traditionally “electable” than Trump. But that’s the same logic that got us stuck with Reek as Obama’s opponent. Desantis cannot get elected in ‘24 without Trump’s base. And Kamala Harris can never be the President. We’ll have to move to the moon or something bc we’re fricked forever if this is the case.

Trump is finished. Can’t tone down his rhetoric, people have already labeled him a white supremacist and he won’t get shite done because of all the opposition. Would be a big mistake for Republicans to have him run again. DeSantis is the way to go.
I'll certainly vote for Trump again if he does run but I agree with you. DeSantis has the same policies without the self absorbed "me" shite
If he runs again he'll just turn off the same voters that were turned off last year. And the left was bad enough in their attacks on Trump, they would be absolutely unreal this time. I think DeSantis is sharp enough and witty enough to cut through the attacks while also having the kind of ballsy man's man personality Trump has that will draw in all the Trump votes. If Trump were to endorse Ron he'd be a juggernaut for not only the right but all the moderates and undecided

I think after a year of Biden people realize just how great Trump had this country running

Trump 2024 with Desantis as VP
Desantis in 2028 and 2032
