He wants to keep the Dems in the majority. If he can help defeat Lee and the GOP loses other races he can keep the Dems in the majority if it’s 50/50 again. If it 51-49, he can switch parties and get the balance to 50/50. Romney is a POS.

The historical GOP is living on borrowed time as far as I’m concerned.
Pricks like Mitt, Crenshaw and a host of other compromised RINOs have helped destroy their own party. Problem is, they are entrenched everywhere. A new party needs to arise to replace these clowns

Not a fan of Mitt, but no matter how we feel about him he represents his constituents how they would vote.
Utah is a Republican state but not like like a southern Republican state or a MAGA state.
Mormon’s didn’t support Trump in 16 when McMullen was running. McMullen is very popular. Lee was one the Republicans that was working to find a legal way to overturn the election. Lee’s loyalty to Trump hurt his popularity in his own state.

McMullen received 21.5%
HRC received 27
Trump 47

Demographics are definitely working against them. If the Hispanics do switch, the GOP will do everything it can to piss them off and chase them back to the Democrats. The GOP combines stupid and inept into an art form.
