And as is tradition, Broward County will be the last to report due to a last minute batch of previously undiscovered votes.

There’s a Subaru sitting in the parking lot of the precinct weighted down with boxes of ballots right now.

Yup. I have no doubt they are going to "find" thousands of absentee ballots around midnight tonight.

More votes for Republicans.

You failed to mention this part in your link.

Top Republicans sounding nervous at this point in today, estimating they are up “only” about 100K ballots on Democrats. Republicans want to be up about 200K by time polls close.

**Election Day** turnout, not total turnout. GOP needs at least a 200,000 ballot win today to feel even hopeful.

Yeah, what’s up with that quote? GOP is way ahead of 2016 but top republicans are nervous?

Can you explain this to me like I am 6? I thought dems have a 30K lead in EV, way down from 2016 when Trump won by 100K.

There's always a huge surge of Republican votes after 5:00 pm.

If the current lead is 150k at 4:00 pm, it will be well over 200k by time the polls close.

There's a Sedan parked somewhere in Broward county with 225k Democrat votes... they just need to see how many they need to "find" around midnight tonight

They haven't revealed what those early votes are, just the party the voters are registered with. Nearly 20% of early votes were independents which, based on polling data, will be won by Dems. Of the GOP ballots, there are fears Trump will earn less than 80% as there will be a lot of crossover given his lack of popularity. Meanwhile, Dem ballots will be well over 90% for dem candidates.

This is why they want at least 200,000 advantage today to feel hopeful, they know that the early vote was recordbreaking and history says they will break against the GOP.

Keeping track of how many ballots need to come out of the trunk at the 11th hour for the Democrats.

I really appreciate the response. I don’t buy it for a minute that GOP voters will abandon trump, but at least I get the context of the tweet.

Dems were up 30k votes from EV, but what about mail-in/absentee ballots?

Last I heard Reps were up significantly in those.

Either way, 157k - 30k = 127k lead for Reps at 4pm. And this is when Reps really start hitting the polls.
