It was only a "blunder" because Fox and Friends said so.

His clarification and the change to "wouldn't" doesn't even makes sense in the sentence he used it in

When Trump made that blunder yesterday, he was thinking of people, no assholes and morons like you who have slandered and defamed him by leading a witch hunt that paints him as a traitor and Putin's puppet and he hates your fricking guts so much he's willing to refuse to stand beside Congress and his own IC. That is the kind of damage your bullshite and despicable witch hunt has done. It has harmed and sullied the american institutions you claim to care about.

Totally serious question. Were you crying when you typed out this melt?

That he “misspoke”, obviously. It’s pathetic how stupid he thinks everyone is - especially his apologists. This one is a flat out, inexcusable blunder from start to finish.

I disagree:

Nope.

Like it or not, Trump has the same civil rights as we do and he has literally the full force of the federal government harassing the hell out of him and his family, friends and associates.

And his enemies are pursuing extremism though shady and nefarious means to remove him.

America lost any sensibility when it nominated the two most morally odious candidates in American history and both sides have escalated out of control.

This may have been true to me and could still be but not anymore when I see one side doing everything it can to litigate an election loss through whatever means they can get like a special counsel.

And that's unacceptable.

I'm not a moderate.

I'm a paleoconservative who agrees with a lot of what Trump is doing and want to see him succeed and will vote for him in 2020.

I've actually gotten a bit more radical on some issues.

You should care if he trusts a murderous dictator over his own intelligence agencies.

I don't think that he does. It was a trap question and he didn't want to piss of Putin and ruin any progress he may have made in the meetings. It was a no win situation and he just answered it poorly. He should have just said "I hope both are honest, but I remain on my toes at all times looking for dishonesty until trust is earned." But in the heat of the moment it's easy to mess up.

All presidents have blunders. This was one for him. Time to move on. Only an idiot thinks he favors Russia over the US. He has done too much good for our nation thus far

Do you not understand why he did it?

I said that Trump was conflating the legit meddling investigation with the bullshite collusion witch hunt and the end result was that blunder presser yesterday and he had no business doing that and had walk it back and clean it up.

There is nothing more he hates than giving even one inch to his enemies and the only reason he fixed it was that his allies and friends were hammering him over it.

I don’t care why he did it. You’re making excuses for him.

AMEN! The result of both parties pandering to the lowest possible levels of society. So proud to be stupid. All of us that let it happen by not trying hard enough to stop the invasion of these know nothing, hyperpartisan fools have to accept our share of the blame as well.

Then why should I give a frick as to why you're pissed about it?

What you see as excuse is my honest, earnest and legit attempt to explain why Trump fricking hates giving even one inch to his enemies and that includes you apparently.

And you accuse me of losing all sense?

GTFO.

It's not like it was just one or two bad apples in both agencies. These were top people in the DOJ & FBI.
Imagine the twisted trail of corruption they leave behind through people who work under them and we're/still are under their tainted, twisted guidance.

It was a team of Top officials in both agencies with a made up political hit piece in an attempt to perform a soft coup to remove the president that got voted in by the people.

After everything they've been exposed to doing and methods to break people they have completely diminished years and years of respect down to being a mockery towards justice in this country.

I can see that. I’ve recently become fascinated with the rise of both Communism and Nazism, and while I don’t think what we’re messing with here will lead to the extremes of the 20th century, it is fascinating how the extremism took everyone by storm when it was originally a very vocal minority.

Like Antifa really don’t know shite about history. They say that they’re here to stop a new Hitler and that there weren’t people like them to stop Hitler’s rise. Here’s guilty secret about Hitler’s rise: the Nazis were elected to stop the Communists. In 1929 there were 130,000 registered National Socialists in Germany. How many registered Communists? 129,000. Hitler wiped out the Communists in his first month in office, which people thought of him as a savior.

I’m worried about this kind of extremism rearing it’s ugly head in a generation. Trump is absolutely no Hitler, he is a Sulla. Sulla had no interest in power, but was interested in being perceived as powerful, respected, and loved, and thus gave up power willingly by the end of his life. I see Trump doing the same. But Sulla gave rise to men like Julius Caesar and Pompey. I fear what Trump and the radical Leftists are turning people my age into that will run the world in 20 years. I’m trying to get people to be less radical, or I think in the 2040s or 50s, we’re sitting on an absolute powder keg, especially since Technological Singularity is likely to arrive around then.

So my message to you, Sentrius:

I’m not pissed about anything. I think it’s pathetic that you are trying to paint an obvious lie as something it isn’t.

What I see is an apologist who refuses to call a spade a spade at the risk of losing a little face because your team took a hit. I’ve praised Trump several times when he does something praiseworthy. Maybe you should try being intellectually consistent. If this was Obama’s we were talking about, would you still be defending this nonsense?
