another perfect example of what a coward Trump is... when he said the would be, he prefaced it by saying 'let me say this'...he knew exactly what he was saying and is crayfishing today because he he knows he fricked up and is trying to save face.
turns out today there is video of a line scratched out in his notes that 'anyone involved brought to justice' that was supposed to be said to Puting but Trump scratched it out.

I would be because I knew for a fact that actions or a lack thereof would be following it.
Obama drew a red line in the sand in Syria and told Russia not to cross it and he repeatedly let Russia cross it and did nothing at all in response.
Trump enforced that red line the first opportunity he got when Assad enabled by Russia crossed it.

How is he a Russian Stooge when he just demanded that the EU stop buying oil and natural gas from Russia? My honest fear is that all this incredibly stupid rhetoric will wind us up in a war with Russia.

America lost any sensibility it had when we sanctioned a special counsel which is a full blown witch hunt when there was no evidence of a crime implicating the Trump campaign/admin.
And now we have Rosenstein and Mueller making a mockery out our justice system with poeticized indictments that will never be tried and will only encourage foreign governments to do the same to ours.
That has damaged the very institutions we claim to care about and destroyed political discourse in this country.

I disagree: America lost any sensibility when it nominated the two most morally odious candidates in American history and both sides have escalated out of control. You once agreed with me that we lost in May 2016. I have not moved and find both sides morally disgusting and that they have escalated things beyond reconciliation for the time being. I fear for the future with the extremism engulfing people on both sides. There is no place in this society and certainly government for moderates.
