My theory on evolution is why all of a sudden did it stop? I mean if man evolved from apes or whatever they are trying to teach why don't you see some that are mid transition? Why would we evolve to humans than all of a sudden all evolution just cease to exist? You don't see fish growing legs or half human half apes?

The Big Bang theory was originated with a Catholic priest. There was no conflict with religion.

Maybe he will actually say something about the terrorists flooding Europe at some point.

How many Muslims he got in his palaces?

How do the theories of the big bang or evolution contradict a supreme being?

And OP, you're aware that the Big Bang theory was thought up by a Catholic priest, right? And that this talk was given at the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, right?

You seem to have a very un-Christian view of God.

Your post makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. What's un-Christian about believing that God has the ability to act through divine providence that science may not explain?

Every miraculous healing, the raising of Lazarus from the dead, all would qualify as a "magician waving a wand".

Kindly explain what's un-Christian about believing in a God that has the power to speak the Earth and mankind into existence in a full grown state, and to raise the dead. Good luck.

Because that's not how evolution works

Why would we evolve to humans than all of a sudden all evolution just cease to exist?

It doesn't

You don't see fish growing legs

You actually do but that's beside the point

You do know humans are evolving all the time?

Or do you not know about people being immune to diseases, rapid size growth, and a vast others?

Midtransition? Are you expecting some Planet of the Apes type things walking around?

I don't know why you keep saying that.

Well I saw Minotaurs in The Chronicles of Narnia; you must have missed them.

That's not what you're saying, nor what Pope Francis is arguing against. Christianity posits belief in a rational God, a God that, as Creator, set up the universe with rules. This does not preclude miracles, but it does mean that God won't just start doing things that make no sense, like creating a fully-formed Mt. Everest that floats in the sky over New York. That's all he's talking about, and that's what you seemed to take issue with in your post.

The Pope is nothing more than a fallible man just as the rest of us.

Bingo

Lots of Christians (particularly evangelicals) believe in a trickster God, which of course is incompatible with the characteristics assigned to him.

Nobody says differently.

Papal infallibility is an incredibly precise thing that more accurately should be termed 'episcopal infallibility'.
