Well goodness. I've actually taken "a class" or two. I even learned about Thalassiosira pseudonana in one of those.

I learned about destructive capacity of glaciers in another. I learned it's easier to deal with the weather being a little too warm than too cold.

Awful debating. If the earth isn’t warming then there is no debate. If it is then there’s a debate. Damn that was easy.

If the earth's temp is fine, then what we are doing is working very well. We should continue doing that with no changes. Status Quo = good therefore policy change = high risk of frigging it up. Next.

Typical Leftist thought pattern.

“I” (and only I) get to make sure how everyone else gets to think.

It is the least scientifically and spiritually curious mentality I can imagine.

You just contradicted yourself. You said the earth's temp is fine now. We just need to worry about the future. You lose again. Damn, this is easy.

So how does this disprove AGW? Once again you're confusing normal variations in seasonal temps and weather with lomg range climactic trends.

It's true that the climate in temperate and tropical regions has warmed only slightly, by a ° or two, in the past 100 years. But, the same CAN'T be said for polar regions. Alaska, N. Canada, Greenland, Scandinavia and Siberia have reported temps since 2000 7°-12°F ABOVE historical averages. Anchorage just endured a year whereby the temp never went below zero! (pretty remarkable for a locality where the historical AVERAGE January temperature is 12° F!).

The world is running a temperature, and it's high time our president gets with the program.

You just contradicted yourself again. First we were fine. Now we are 'falling off a cliff' but we haven't died yet. Don't you feel really stupid?

You are getting owned in this thread, but at least you are passionate about something. It's too bad you can't be as passionate about more important and pressing issues.

No. No.
To successfully debate this you would need to make sure everyone agrees we do not understand foundational basis of cyclical temp variation in an ice age.

No

No?
Really?

You'd say that as glaciers turned modern cities into moraine?

Yeah, Dawg's NO answer was so stupid I could not respond.
