Why did the GOP Mc’s (McConnell, McCarthy and McDaniel) abandon this issue on a national level. For the first time in a long time Republicans we’re winning on education but the GOP leadership did not recognize the opportunity. So bad.

They support CRT now?

They did not lead on the issue. They did not say we only support GOP candidates that do not support CRT and we will not allow federal funding to go to school districts that have tranny story time hour.

Just lead on the issue. Make it an issue. Youngkin took advantage of it and won. At the time the Dems were comfortably leading in the polls until parents started to learn en mass what their kids were being taught in school.

Serious question

Has Youngkin done anything in VA?

You are arguing about the merits of CRT. I’m talking about using it as a political issue. Youngkin did it and won.

Just another missed opportunity by the GOP leadership.

Just another RINO and his lieutenant governor.

Used Trump to get elected then went right back to establishment.

In Georgia the GOP ads focused on inflation/spending and tied Warnock and Biden to inflation.

To me that was the right play.

The GOP out performed except in DeKalb and Fulton.

To borrow a Gaetz term McFailures. You are confusing what's right with the will to win. They preferred status quo. They were handed a perfect storm and totally screwed the pooch.

He's governed as a conservative and he's been boring. That's what most people want and is why he has a high approval rating in that state.

I know it's impossible for people like you to comprehend but most normal people don't want drama from their politicians.

Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin’s approval rating has increased slightly to 55% (from 53% in May), while disapproval remains at 35%, according to the poll. Approval within his party is at 86%, up from 75% in June. Approval for Democratic President Joe Biden has increased slightly, as well, up to 39% from an all-time low Roanoke College Poll rating of 37% in June.

You are mistaken.

Youngkin didn't use Trump. He stayed away from Trump for the most part.

Everybody knows this.

CRT was the leading issue of the prior year. This year was inflation. The Dems focused on abortion.

GOP leadership never offered voters a definitive reason why Republicans should lead other than we’ll stop the Dems. This has been a losing trait for the GOP for too long. You have to present ideas and a plan. The Dems win people over with plans and legislation, even if it terrible. They have a plan.

Being a Republican leader is more about slowing things down than "doing shite", these days, especially in moderate areas.

The only viable candidates in areas like VA are "frauds". Would you prefer Democrats? Those are your 2 choices.

Funding commercials of trannies having mock stripping parties with 6 year olds would have played pretty well against the Dems...just saying.
