EDIT: I will just post Howard Kurtz's tweet and let you decide if my post title is correct:
He could be saying "the trigger to Fox's goodbye statement" or "the trigger to her termination." I don't know which.

She has a very bad reputation inside Fox News. Former Fox employees have talked about how almost nobody likes her especially production people and off- air staff. Sounds like she is incredibly high maintenance. Kennedy would be the best replacement as long as she gets to keep her FBN show but they will probably rotate for a while and maybe they land someone like Jedediah Bila.

Laura Ingraham is the same. High maintenance and very nasty to her crew. There's videos on YouTube about it (from years ago during her first stint at Fox). I mean she didn't go Bill O'Reilly "frick it, I'll do it live" crazy, but she was a smartass.
That said, her ratings are good enough that she's safe I would think.

But she isn’t a reporter. Her job was to be a MAGA pundit on the oped show “The 5”.
So dating Jr would actually be to her benefit.

Yeah, she has gotten more and more snarky and self-righteous over the years. She went into a diatribe one day on her radio show about decorum and so forth because of the word 'arse' being used in some news report on one of the networks. It was ridiculous. She's turning into a bitter old church lady.
