I can’t see any other reason why the democrats would dial up round 2 of Smear Kavanaugh Bowl.
I thought perhaps they feel the need to fire up their base, which is uninspired by this crop of weak candidates, but I think there are other ways they could have done so.
Democrats love nothing more than a smear campaign for a purely political purpose and I am thinking that purpose could be the impending death of Ginsburg and the Armageddon that will follow it.

I think there is a possibility that they are concerned about future prosecutions that may be coming down the line and the Supreme Court could become very important to the AG in future court cases. They really need a reason to remove BK if a democrat were to win the White House. They are so arrogant that they actually think they will win the WH during this election. The people in Washington DC inside the beltway are totally clueless to the rest of America. They are all self serving assholes that need to be removed from office and I am talking about democrats and republicans. The republicans that are going along with Trump are only doing so because they know their voters support him, they hate his fricking guts because they are just as big of pieces of shite as the democrats.

I don't think this can be discounted.
Dems are capable of ANYTHING. A timely, targeted attack on a Supreme Court Justice for political purposes is right down the middle of the fairway for them.

This is probably it, but don't discount the possibility that one or more Justices might get taken down by the FISA abuse scandal.
I'd almost rather see Roberts leave than Ginsberg. Any big vote, Roberts will vote the way his handlers want him to.
