I could definitely see Trump raiding her offices and home and securing all communications between her and her clients. After all, the Dems have shown us that this is an okay thing to do.

Keep on plugging away
Rosenstein was appointed because he probably gave Trump and Sessions a good interview and his concern for Rosenstein was satisfied at the time. In other words Trump gave Rosenstein the benefit of the doubt so he can continue his career as DAG. These are career government people and are probably scared of the thought of starting over in the private sector. Trump's own benevolence hurt him in this situation.

Debatable. Session understood the question as meeting a Russian in an one on one meeting personally and/or on official business. Not shake the Russian ambassador's hand amongst several other foreign ambassadors in a "public" forum which he totally forgot about. But he recused himself nonetheless and that was a mistake.
